Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood calls for milion-man march because of anti-islam movie.

this is the video they are raging about
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmodVun16Q4
so far it already caused dead of us embassador in libya and riots all over the world, burning american flags and shit. http://www.buzzfeed.com/gavon/the-la...four-people-dy
What do you think about it?
"Bangladesh: Also this morning, around 10,000 Muslims from half a dozen Islamist groups staged a noisy protest in Bangladeshi capital Dhaka, burning and trampling American flags while chanting anti-US slogans"

Re: Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood calls for milion-man march because of anti-islam movie
..I was writing a long response to this, I left it.
All I have to say is:
That's why I am anti-social and I don't have any religion, I just can't simply stand people's retardation.
nuff said.
May they all be nuked.

Re: Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood calls for milion-man march because of anti-islam movie
Whoever insults my prophet will be burned to death. Ah and don't think that Allah is just watching: "And verily messengers (of Allah) were mocked before thee, but long I bore with those who disbelieved. At length I seized them, and how(awful) was My punishment!" Quran: 13:32.
-
Re: Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood calls for milion-man march because of anti-islam movie
I think they're over-reacting a bit due to it just being a movie.
But I don't think that is the sole reason of them doing so.
I think they're just fed up with America, like a lot of other countries.
I don't blame them if that's the case, but if it's solely over a movie,
they seriously need to chill the fuck out.
-
it is just because of the movie and they are definitely not overreacting just "a bit" :)

..Are you even serious?
Snap, let's not bring up the religion discussion...we, as intelligent people, all agreed that there's no evidence for God, this is the fact that gets down your theory.
"OH BUT HOW DO YOU KNOW HE DOESN'T EXIST?" ..Because there's no proof of his existence ?
Bible/Quran are proofs ? Wow, they're just books..written by people.
We all know how the existence of God in our heads is a strong sing of a mental illness and mental ilnesses existed for a long time, just like other diseases.. Now you make the connection.
Damn it, the moment we get past over these things (I believe in 3-4 generations) we will be able to evolve, leaving the bullcrap behind .. If you would read about it and actually study history.. you would know that Religion has caused lots ..buts lots of useless deaths.
Gosh, dude..I never saw an atheist attacking religion without being provoked..but when you say that if you insult a long-dead guy who really hasn't done anything than just speaking about how a "Great God named Allah exist and he was always there, created everything and so on.." you're going "to burn to death for no reason" ..is kinda very pretty much stupid, don't you think ? I believe so.
This could be taken over and over with arguments, but the fact that a smart person that has atleast the power to judge what's good and what's not good will always see behind what the mainstream offers and how much it lies.. There's no evidence for God, therefore sustaining his existence is just pure fiction.
After all, isn't religion all about loving your enemy and be peaceful and all that stuff ? I believe it is.
So why the eff are you guys fighting like morons over a clearly moronic and very irrational problem ?
I don't mean to offend anyone that believes in a God or anything, but.. For the love of..everything that's right in this world, think rational..
You were given something when you were born, which is called religion, you had no choice but you shall seek the truth during your life, it takes just a bit of intelligence to realize that religion was probably the smartest thing created in order to keep people "in chains" and slow down a bit the "massive killing" by having a God to fear, therefore you should leave religion to the masses and just live your life the way you want it, not having to obey a so called God all your life.

Re: Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood calls for milion-man march because of anti-islam movie
the thing is, moldor, muslims can't comprehend facts or arguments, you can't talk with them really, I tried. You'll see that the only answer you gonna get is allah is infinite, you gonna burn omg allah allah Muhammad you will suffer I'll get virgins
-
Re: Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood calls for milion-man march because of anti-islam movie
I don't have anything with anybody, but when somebody says "You're going to burn to death because you don't follow Allah" I'm just going to burst out, I just can't stand ultimate retardation.
I died at the "I'll get virgins" part, hahaha!
If you show me proof of God's existence, solid proof which is believable and not "miracles".. I will say I am sorry, but still.. since the discussion about God's existence has been brought .. I don't think somebody succeded, but good luck on that and keep your religious threats to yourself.

Re: Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood calls for milion-man march because of anti-islam movie
I seriously think they've took it over the top. It's like the Atheists flipping out because Mel Gibson's made Passion of the Christ, I find it a bit extreme that they're doing all of this. Protesting isn't going to achieve anything, I certainly wasn't impressed when they brought violence into it and decided to kill the US Ambassador. Especially after doing it when Islam is supposed to be the 'Religion of Peace', certainly isn't looking like that with the violence that is going on.
-
Re: Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood calls for milion-man march because of anti-islam movie
Well, that's religion of peace to you, just like Christianity is religion of love and tolerance.

Re: Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood calls for milion-man march because of anti-islam movie
Haha foxx you post this as though Islam is the only religion in the history to have ever done this. Religion is a retarded concept and coupled with factors such as economic conditions, available education, etc. has these terrible outcomes. The people in the countries that are protesting are poor and they are morons. They are third world countries. Why is Saudia Arabia, probably the most Islamic nation on Earth, not reacting like this? Because the country is relatively rich it has managed to appease it's population and given them things such as education (limited as it may be) to avoid this shit.
The same thing happened with Christianity and Judaism back in the day, but today the majority of Christian countries are at a higher standard than their Muslim counterparts. Look at Jerusalem. Perfect example of the destructive powers of religion, because anything that upset one of the religions in the city caused riots and problems. I get it, you don't like Muslims, but to use the inbred faggots as representatives for all of them is just wrong.
^ this coming from the guy whose government took the actions of a few thousand to label the rest of the billion as terrorists.

How can you even say that this is right? Violence isn't a good solution for anything, insulting a religion is fairly idiotic, but it comes around as humour. Surely if Catholicism was mocked in a film or taken for granted, protests would be going on, sure, that does happen but burning of flags of nations and burning valuable things down is horrific, especially killing somebody that didn't even know of the problem until the end (the US Ambassador for Libya). Religion or not, it's wrong.

Re: Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood calls for milion-man march because of anti-islam movie
Religion is no longer "about" religion for Muslims living in the middle east, its more about war for them, and girls being scared to go to school otherwise the taliban will spill boiling oil over them, or whatever...
-
Re: Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood calls for milion-man march because of anti-islam movie
I have nothing against religions people but that goes to far... That movie is nothing x.x Just a joke.
We all made movies about Germans. You see Germans raging? Nope.
Fuck the middle east Moslims. They should react like LOL that is false why does the movie look so stupid.

Doesn't matter if it happens a million times that doesn't change the fact that it's just a Movie.
That's it, a movie. Film, Pixels, Words. It is not an action and it damn sure does not call for
the extreme and irrational behavior that these people are demonstrating over there.

That doesn't even relate... there is a HUGE digression between physically slapping someone in their face and making a movie such as this.
-
Re: Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood calls for milion-man march because of anti-islam movie
Fucking retarded how they rage at a country instead of just at the creators of the video...
-
Re: Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood calls for milion-man march because of anti-islam movie
Apparently there is more to the story that has come to light in the last 24 hours or so. They say that the attack on the US embassy that ended up killing innocent people could of been pre planned. Information was leaked to the attacks telling them where the secret safe house was and no reinforcements were sent out to help the embassy workers.
Those that use religion to incite war and chaos don't give a damn about the religion because if they understood the religion then these things would not happen.
The attack happened on 2012 September the 11th so maybe considering this could fill in some the information missing.

This is exactly it. This is why these riots start, people who think with this mindset cause these problems. Repthon is an idiot, we already knew that, but when this hateful and senseless mindset is shared by thousands of uneducated individuals with far too much time on their hands we get the current chaos we are in.

Re: Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood calls for milion-man march because of anti-islam movie
My bad, please don't attack the US Embassy in Dubai because of my WORDS.
I was pointing out what was wrong with your post. You can't defend the mindset of these people. Yes everyone has a certain set of beliefs and you should stick to them and defend them, but this is just ridiculous. Religion is supposed to be the opium of the masses, but Islam is turning into PCP for the masses.
Also, and I know this is going to turn into a shit storm (especially with Not4You's great history of impartial modding), do not take this to be a racist statement. It is sarcasm in light of the current situation...

Re: Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood calls for milion-man march because of anti-islam movie
Honestly I am not raging about the film because its just a film and raging won't make anything better. The problem is that in all of the arab countries there is no freedom of speech so everything you say people get pissed its not that i encourage that my prophet gets insulted but its just a fact that everywhere there is criticism.
Islam isn't 1% of what people are doing at the moment it just that majority of people don't think and have nothing to do but rage.
-
Yeah amazing, and how about you, 99% of good muslims go and tell them to shut the fuck up and arrest all of them protesters(cut off their limbs as well, or isn't destroying millions of dollars worth of property and killing worse than stealing a bread?)

Somehow funny, how you point your finger at anyone, who is against your opinion and thus you call him either "idiot or beyond stupidity". Why is that so, because thy do not represent, what you or the other guy do?
Or is it, because they behave differently and act upon it, like if their Prophet is insulted that they defense him? Is it because they believe in something you don't?
Funny though, most of you are hypocrites, waiting e.g for christmas to get a present, but no clue about it's origin, even as an atheist.
You guys are literally against anything the muslims do, being in their situation, I'd burn everything that is connected to the US and Europe for their massive killings, not just in Iraq, Afghanisten, Plestine, but wars before that, like vietnam.
That's how these countries get money, by making war, a simple reason is needed to make the ignorant folk believe it's good what they do to support them and ending up with blood on the hands.
Besides, it's amusing to see people like you Mr.foxx, judging about everything you can like you'd know more than most, but in fact you're the one being the most ignorant here, because you only support your own view, everything else is falsehood, this is what I call beyond stupidity. I mean judging without knowledge/evidence, what did you learn at school?
Have you ever been to those countries, where the people are oprressed, abused, defiled and murdered in front of their families? This applies to both genders, females and males, elders and children. You and your dirty tongue are used to judge about things you've no clue about. You're simply a trip, nothing else, thus before judging about something, get knowledge first.
My 2 cents, foxx, stay objective, you are getting very emotional regarding such topics, reflects your ignorance and simplicity.

I beg your pardon? So it's wrong to say that someone who thinks all these protests and killing are fine is an idiot? I sincerely don't think so.
Australian muslims demands that everyone involved with the movie should be beheaded, do I think they, and everyone who supports this opinion, are idiots? Yes I do.

What exactly have I done that is ignoran? At this very case, what knowledge/evidence do you need? It's not the mainstream medias that are telling us these extremists muslims all over the worlds are protesting because of the movie, it's the muslims themselves saying that.

Senkura, read the rest of the thread. In the first post it sounds like he is pointing his finger at Islam alone, but he clarifies it to include all religions and I agree with him. You are taking personal shots. He is not. He is criticizing the actions of these mobs, and the teachings of the religion that lead to such shit. You are just posting about a bunch of different topics.

But he is not banding together with others in a bloody protest to do so.

Seriously, what are you going on about now? Just because somebody is questioning your religion over the violence, doesn't mean that he's questioning whether God, Allah, Muhammad, Jesus or whomever isn't real. You can't say because foxx said he's an atheist either, because that'd really be starting on somebody else's religious views. ;)

The religion of peace and tolerance killing people and rioting over a stupid video? Obviously Jewish propaganda

There are many theorys why god exist and why god doesn't exist like the big bang. There is no reason for you to say you will leave if someone can prove why god doesn't exist because you know that can't be proven because god is something people believe in, its peoples belief which is "keeping god alive" . Religion in the west is become alot less important than it was 100yrs ago.
People are taking religion too far as you can see by what some said above with the child holding up the poster. Killing people is not the way to help your religion it just makes people see the worse of your religion.
Quote:
the Universe cooled sufficiently to allow energy to be converted into various subatomic particles, including protons, neutrons, and electrons. While protons and neutrons combined to form the first atomic nuclei only a few minutes after the Big Bang, it would take thousands of years for electrons to combine with them and create electrically neutral atoms. The first element produced was hydrogen, along with traces of helium and lithium. Giant clouds of these primordial elements would coalesce through gravity to form stars and galaxies, and the heavier elements would be synthesized either within stars or during supernovae.
As you can see this is how the big bang works.

Re: Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood calls for milion-man march because of anti-islam movie
We christians had first the old testament, with animal offerings and other shit. Then it evolved into the new testament. The muslim religion is still practised the same old way as allways, not changes to that and no adapting to the modern times. Maybe it's time for a change, but i doubt they will ever do that. And btw. even Mel Brooks made fun of jesus in the movie " History of the world ".
A few days ago here in denmark , a danish muslim helt a sign in front of him with a text from the quran. It said, "Don't take jewish or christian people as friends, cause they are friends to eachother. If you become their friend, then you become one of them". So if i see this right, muslims are not allowed to be friends with us christians. So what the fuck are they doing in a country full of christians ??

I was having an argument with a muslim..
..Fuck me but I couldn't even talk he was popping so many sh** and was so ignorant, and, as you said.. He told me that I fucked my life and myself for not believing in "The Prophet", oh dear god..
Then he blocked me for not agreeing with him.
They're offended by a video which is not meant to be taken literally and it's only for entertaining purposes.. I was like..How the heck can you even do that ? LOL!
So the guy.. literally sh** himself with this:
"why they create charater of our Prophet whom they never seen" - quote by him.
So that literally says this is FICTIONAL because they never saw their prophet and it's in no WAY REAL which means taking a fictional thing or representation of a FICTIONAL character (Such as Mohammed in this video..) in such a serious way would make you ignorant and reality-broken, therefore ..in other words.. If you believe this video is offensive in any way and it's meant to be very real, you clearly are close-minded and you deserve an ass-whooping.
After all, many religions have received hars, harsh attacks .. Direct ones and not videos that are meant to be offensive.. and you don't see them running around and setting everything on fire.
..Jeez, I'm never ever going to get in an argument with a muslim again.
I have read about the Muslims's Religion from Quran, just some small passages and I was shocked to see that they're somehow not allowed to be friends with Christians and other Religious People that do not obey Allah.
God damn it.. I don't hate on anything or anyone.. But If I was in charge, I'd just burn their religion down.
Even so, their religion say it's all about peace and good will so why do they do this? They're literally disobeying their own religion by doing those things.
^ Objective Thinking, opinions and ideas based on observation and research.
Unbelievable, lol.
He ended up the conversation and then ignored me (Huh, you can't really share opinions with them, haha..It just seems they're so close minded to what they have.. it's unbelievable what religion does to people.) with this:
"and u fucked ur self and ur life

Right, a lot of things here that don't make sense or aren't relatable. First off, I'll start with what you said about the Muslim religion consisting of pure 'ignorant' people. I don't believe they are ignorant, I'm sure if you cared about your religion and followed it like religion was supposed to be followed, then you'd argue back and defend you religion and it's God/disciples/prophets. It's how religion is supposed to be. Religion isn't supposed to be over rivalry or idiotic people saying "oh your god don't exist but our god does", that's just silly. We can't stereotype the Muslim people over about 10,000 people from the religion rioting over something so silly as this. Let's think about the figures shall we, (based off 6.8 billion people in the world at the time). Here are the biggest religions and their population/density;
Christianity - #1 in the world (most popular) with 2.4 BILLION adherents.
Islam - #2 in the world - 1.65 BILLION adherents.. and then there's non-religious/non-religion.
Non-religious/non-religion - 1.12 BILLION adherents.
Now you can see the figures (true figures as of around 2010-2011), you can't argue with me saying I'm lying. We cannot say the whole of the Muslim/Islamic religion is ignorant or show some sign of violence just because of a couple of thousand individual extremists who decided to protest and carry out violent acts such as burning of the American Flag and murder. They will defend their prophets like you would defend your God if you were religious.
Some extreme believers in Christianity would do this too, don't get me wrong. Read what I say again, I'll highlight incase you try and argue back. Extremists. You know they would. However, it's hardly been shown before, if you have ever seen the Film 'Life of Brian' then you'll know what I'm saying. Nobody decided to protest about that because it was actually seen as humour, something that the Muslim's who decided to protest haven't seen in this (clearly).
Also, the last post you quoted by 'FlashyX' which said 'lol'd they are such barbaric retards./ YES, this post IS racist' you said that the muslims are crazy. I don't think he was saying he was a Muslim.. He was calling THEM barbaric. Also, don't be insulting other peoples religion, saying that it's a crap religion, because that's arrogant in itself.

It, in fact, doesn't ruin the current ideas physicists have.
Just do some research on Big Bang. Not on religion centred websites, because they tend to brush anything off as [GOD/JESUS/ALLAH/SHIVA/ODIN/FLYING SPAGHETTI MONSTER/Whatever]'s act.

Pain is a feeling. You can't see a feeling directly, because it's a result of a rather-complicated-for-you-to-understand chain of reactions in the brain that manifests as this feeling. Although you could probably use neuroimaging and find out which areas of the brain are most active while experiencing pain, then you could say that one can see pain.

It's not about taking a joke. It's about how they react or how they see it. Obviously some will see it as an insult to their religion as their prophet and religion has clearly been mocked, but some do find it humorous. Not everybody has the same sense of humour.

I'm sorry, you didn't imply a question when you created that post. You clearly said 'when somebody CONVINCES me that god doesn't exist then I'll leave the forum'. Since when was that a question? It's either that or you do not understand the concept of it. Not once have I said God doesn't exist, nor have I said he does..
How can the laws of physics be wrong if they've been PROVEN? As well, pain is totally different from what people call 'God'. You can actually feel pain when in it's presence, you can't feel anything if you believe your in God's presence, unless a heavy spiritualist or on some drugs (give me some of what you're smoking then please).
Also, I think foxx may be referring to the following: [a dhimmi – a non-Muslim subject living as a "second-class" citizen in an Islamic state in accordance to Quran 9:29] think you know your Holy book inside out? clearly not.
Yes, the big bang couldn't have been made otherwise. I don't know any man or miracle that can breathe in Space or it's atmosphere. So yes, it must have been made by itself. The following pretty much explains it all.. 'The explosion of dense matter that marked the origin of the universe.'
Pretty much sums it up with the "wasn't made by itself" malarkey.

This is why is was so hot not God.
Quote:
If the universe was initially very, very hot as the Big Bang suggests, we should be able to find some remnant of this heat. In 1965, Radioastronomers Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson discovered a 2.725 degree Kelvin (-454.765 degree Fahrenheit, -270.425 degree Celsius) Cosmic Microwave Background radiation (CMB) which pervades the observable universe. This is thought to be the remnant which scientists were looking for. Penzias and Wilson shared in the 1978 Nobel Prize for Physics for their discovery.

Though it's kind of refreshing that a religious person would try and use the big bang as proof. Somewhat like when Evolution was first introduced and Christianity jumped on it. Does this mean if we prove where the big bang came from, you would instantly become Atheist? Because there is something similar in quantum physics where atoms can appear out of nowhere, it's possible that is how the big bang started (maybe, who knows?).
At the end of the day Religion sits in the fringes of science, which are rapidly declining. This is imo why most religions are intolerant of science, for every new major discovery it makes, it removes a "God did it!" argument. Like the (very) old "science doesn't know how the tides work" comment you often hear, which is laughably wrong now because we know exactly how they work.
As for the film, for the 5min I watched of the trailer, are you fucking kidding me. Either the films over there are complete shit, and this looks like a professional film, or they need to wake the fuck up. This isn't a Hollywood production. If you are going to react this badly to a shitty film like that, frankly you deserve to be offended. If I were one of those Christians who was trying to antagonise Islamic people, I'd look at this and think "wow that was easy, lets do more". Do they really think protests will stop small time productions in a world with the internet? It's laughably stupid imo, they should have just shot back with a mocking film of Christianity.
On a side note on faith and beliefs, I'm just wondering how old you religious people were when you first started going to Church/Mosque/Where ever. I personally feel very strongly that no one under the age of 18 should be allowed to be religious. Possibly a little younger in some countries, generally the age people legally become an adult. Before then, you can't reasonably have all the options and arguments. Before then, you don't have faith, your parents force faith upon you. Frankly I'd call that child abuse by both religions and parents, and it should be stopped asap. If you choose to become religious when you are 18, by all means I totally support every, and any, non-aggressive religion. I would be surprised if any religious book calls for violence because that would be a bad moral lesson, which really would go against the very origins of religions as a source of control for the masses.
This goes for any religion that tries to attract children btw. Kids will believe anything, they are easy targets. They should be protected from this stuff imo.

That's not what I said: if someone convinces me why God doesn't exist I will leave this forum for good, plus I'll give him 50$ as a present for guiding me, you are right because grammatically it's not a question.

Also, I think foxx may be referring to the following: [a dhimmi – a non-Muslim subject living as a "second-class" citizen in an Islamic state in accordance to Quran 9:29] think you know your Holy book inside out? clearly not.
Yes I know my book better than you, is that what you meant? Surat At-Tawbah [9:29] - The Noble Qur'an - القرآن الكريم so what's wrong

Pretty much sums it up with the "wasn't made by itself" malarkey.

Really I wonder how they come from nowhere, hmm. God isn't forcing anyone to believe it's up to you.

.
No, just for your information, I don't want to say everything, but most of things that scientists discovered were written in the Quran before 14 centuries (Baby developments, creation of the universe, etc)

If you are going to react this badly to a shitty film like that, frankly you deserve to be offended. Do they really think protests will stop small time productions in a world with the internet? It's laughably stupid imo, they should have just shot back with a mocking film of Christianity.
What film? in my signature? where it says it's Hollywood production? LOL, even the scenes were taken from Hollywood movies , like 2012,
the scenes are for to clear what the Shiekh (speaker) is saying about the end of the world, that's all, really it doesn't require a high IQ.

I agree with some parts of what you said like you still don't have the right knowledge to argue with someone about your religion because it requires a high responsibility that's why I'm careful with what I'm saying, though I might do some mistakes in the end I'm Human moreover if you don't understand you can look up about Islam but from the right sources I'm sure you will understand better. However in Islam no one forces you to believe, you can believe whenever you want, the sooner the better because you don't know when you will die, about children, why some children go to the church? because that's what their parents taught them, they grew up in a Christianity environment.

Ok cool, so the warmth came from nowhere and then BOOM the universe started expanding, seriously?

Re: Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood calls for milion-man march because of anti-islam movie
Theorizing where we came from is just pointless. The simple fact is that even the most intelligent people on the planet have absolutely no clue.
If you were to compare this story to where water comes from, then most people understand it comes from the tap and the researchers understand that it originates from the ground. How it got there in the ground is beyond all of us.
The big bang does not prove or disprove that a god exists. If anything I side more with the idea that something does exist beyond what we can grasp, now I'm not saying it's an all knowing god, but the way I see it, matter has to come from somewhere, there can't be a big bag if there is absolutely nothing out there. So if there is something out there, who knows how much is out there. Maybe someone did create the universe, maybe someone took some matter and placed it in some empty space and created the universe, maybe that person is so far beyond what we are able to, that we think of that being as a god (maybe it's the only way we can even grasp such a higher being). Of course the question is, where did they come from, what started that life.
In the end, no one knows, there is no proof that there is a god, especially not in the way that most religions describe (this cannot be denied since religious believe in god - if it was a fact then it wouldn't be believing, it would be knowing), but there is no proof that there is no god.
This is also why I think atheism is bullcrap, atheism says there is no god, end of story, but since there is no proof, it is just a believe that there is no god, which makes them hypocrites for believing in a reality that they can't proof.

My English is perfectly fine, i will put it into a more simpler form, If the universe was very, very hot as we have already stated before so we need to find out where this heat comes from, well in 1965, Radioastronomers Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson discovered a Cosmic Microwave Background radiation (CMB). Also before you said

Actually there is things that defy the laws of physics like singularities, a singularity is what is believed to be the start of the universe , singularities are also thought to be found in the core of blackholes.
Anyway, after all this fighting over who is right and who is wrong, the Islamic belief of Allah creating the the universe can not be proven however nor can the big bang theory be proven.

Re: Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood calls for milion-man march because of anti-islam movie
Don't you just love how this 'peaceful' and 'loving' and 'religious' group of people who supposedly uphold Religious value not only in themselves but their Culture as-well are bringing all this about? Since when does someone who upholds a God in their values and worships them and believes and claims to follow the traditions and ways of that Religion cause such violence and Chaos. Not only that but go around making threats of slaughtering thousands of people, all while doing it in the name of their prophet.
Yeah, that makes so much fucking sense I might just hit myself in the head with a hammer and call me Tupac.
Seriously though, let them keep pulling all this shit and making all these threats. I guarantee you the second that one of these major threats gets carried through and we lose a really prominent social figure, or a bunch of citizens is the day that their nation gets buttfucked up the ass horridly and loses ~50% of their population. America is the known super-power bully of the world, so yeah, that makes a lot of sense to fuck with them, right? Oh but wait, these are the same people who supposedly uphold religious values doing all this, so that's to be expected.
This is so fucking stupid. They need to grow the hell up and stop being so damn foolish.
Quote:
People need to think this through. First, Google states in the article that the clip is "widely available on the web"; even if Google takes it down, that doesn't stop its proliferation. Secondly, taking it down starts them down a slippery slope; do they start taking down anything that denigrates the Christian faith, or the Jewish faith, etc? Don't get me wrong, I'm not agreeing with the video, but come on...it was created by an Egyptian Coptic Catholic, how does this translate to "kill the US" anyway??
Quote:
If you don't believe in free speech that offends you, you don't believe in free speech at all. Limiting access to the video in those countries is already going too far. The fact that some of you think a video is the problem here, not the people doing the killing, is just mind-boggling to me. Is it the actual content that convinced you they should take it down, or the reaction to the content? I'm sure some of your liberal social views are extremely offensive to the rioters too. Are you going to censor yourself on that, or wait until they start killing people because of it?
Quote:
Freedom of speech protects works based on opinion. This particular video does not fall within the guidelines of "hate speech". As such there is no violation of any North American laws and therefore is deemed legal. If we capitulate to any and all requests from outside interests we might as well not allow ourselves any freedom of speech.
Quote:
GO GOOGLE! Guess what people, sometimes things some people think are funny, will not be funny to others, all well. Grow up everyone has been bullied. Move on. As far as I am concerned the video was created as a form of freedom of speech in America. They don't like it they don't have to watch it. A video is no reason to kill another human being and if people are that morally confused well then.... enjoy a visit from the marines. Thank you Google for protecting our freedom of speech. Ps its a stupid video anyway get over it, go watch Passion of the Christ.
Quote:
Google is not much better than the goof that made the video. It is sad that in this world that a video can inflame people so much. But, it is even sadder that knowing this fact there are people in this world willing to throw fuel on it and turn their back on efforts to quell that flame. I can figure out their motive, are they trying to make a mark in history or they just insensitive and uncaring people? People have died and will continue to die because of this stupidity. I hate to say this but people in this world need to grow up and practice some religious sensitivity and tolerance.
Quote:
Good! Our Freedom of Speech should not be dictated by a few fundamentalists who let violence and murder flow through them. This not only goes for the Islamic side, but as well as the Christian ones here back home, too. Besides the movie is so horribly edited and acted that I'm surprised anyone even paid any attention to it. If anything, it's just hilarious.
Quote:
Bravo, Google. It concerns me greatly that the White House feels compelled to pander and capitulate to the demands of Muslim fundamentalists, especially those violent Islamic bullies, thugs, and terrorists threatening America lives. Condemning an inflammatory movie is one thing; however, effectively self-condemning a major distinguishing Western principle -- freedom of speech and expression -- is a foolish and unacceptable mistake. Obama & Company should be ashamed of themselves.

yh thats true thats true . but i mean the US like u said is like a bully around the world why would they wanna fuck with us in the first place if they know it ? that erks me . unless they want more of there people to be killed then alrdy is lolll

Re: Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood calls for milion-man march because of anti-islam movie
There's a fine line between protecting a people and creating a new genocide....killing all Muslim's just because of a few radicals would be like Hitler and the Holocaust...
Not all Muslim's are radicals like the ones you hear about in the news constantly...and this is coming from a Jew BTW...many live normal lives and even have adapted to new age thoughts and ideas...
ANY religion can be construed into violence and anger if taught that way...the Bible...the Quran...The Tanakh...even the Canon of Trent...can all be twisted into whatever means someone wants them to be as long as there are people out there gullible enough to believe...

You might wonder, but frankly so is everyone involved in Quantum Mechanics. I would suggest if you are interested to have a read about it, but then what's the point if you genuinely believe God did everything anyway.
If you seriously believe everything in science is written in your holy book (this goes for any religion) you are need to step back and have a think about what you are saying. Fair enough saying *God created people* and then deciding evolution was the process it used, but saying evolution is in your holy book is completely wrong on so many levels. What if evolution is found to be inaccurate in 100 years (it's an on going field, even if it is a fact!), taking it and saying it was written here all along just opens yourself up to criticism.
Not to mention the size of every holy book is tiny compared to the wealth of knowledge science has discovered. You'd probably need a holy book the size of several libraries....
I was speaking of the trailer (and subsequent film I presume) linked in the opening post. I watched the first few seconds of your signature film, it looked like some religious propaganda so I turned it off. Sorry, I'm just not interested in organised religion any more. I simply have no respect for anyone who tries to convert anyone, and I can't listen to someone I don't respect. That's just my personal philosophy, having an agenda degrades the message. It goes for political messages too.
I have no interest in judging your religion, as long as it is peaceful. Even the attacks I understand are done by people, not religions, so as long as the religion leaders themselves aren't actively involved, then it's the people who should be punished. I understand everyone has a different perspective to me, and as such I can't be the one to judge them, unless it comes to violence (which I personally am against all forms of).
What I was talking about was the targeting of children by religions. That is a system, and I can judge that, because it's simple child abuse imo. Children are very susceptible to suggestions by adults, that is why there are child militants, and normally adult ones too for that matter. Children generally believe anything they are told, and only start really questioning things when they are what 13+? Hell, questioning stuff itself is a skill taught in school, and which faith school would tell children to question their faith? None.
Again, I have no qualms with peaceful organised religion as a whole, if the practices started at an age where having faith was a choice, and not forced upon them by an adult (which is likely what happened to 90%+ of religious people I would bet).
