i have all the files working on my comp but for some un known reason i cant connect to phpmyadmin to insert the sql file any one got any idias and before you say check ip it correct i keep getting this message Not Found

try port 8080 (and btw 192.168.x.x is local, you can post that fully)

Do you have the correct network type selected for the VM?
VMware, you should have the 'network adapter' set to: Bridged AND check the 'replicate physical network connection state' ...

haveing a problem when vm is briged it cuts my internet off for some random reason so i have vm set to net any idias what i can do to connect vmware to navicat woth out being bridged ?

ok i guess ima not be able to run 1.4.5 then coz im sick of these problems im haveing i cant seam to get phpmyadmin working or even get navicat to connect to my vmware and cant find the mysql.conf to edit it
if any one can take the time to make me a pw 1.4.5 VMware virtual machine configuration i would be realy greatfull coz atm the way i feel i just want to give up but then i will be letting all my freinds down and my gf as i wanted to make it for them please
<<you need to set to brided look up on vmware edit/virtual Network Editor/then click /vmnet0 bridged look down /VMnet information /bridged to: your local connection now your internet work on bridgedQuote:

i did m8 i set it as bridged and it kicked my internet off my comp for some stupid reason
That sounds to me like you were (trying) to use the same IP address for your host OS, and for the VM then. Did you make sure to use different IPs for the host OS and the VM?
yep its ok got it working know just dont know were i put the pw.sql file in navicat know as i have the thing connected to my vmware
