[Help]Finding a movie

I'm searching for a movie that, in the ending, my girlfriend's mother describes that there are two children dancing or playing in a field, and they get swallowed up by a sunflower or something. That's all she can remember about the movie, and she says it's a sunflower because she saw pedals around what enclosed them. She has developed a fear of sunflowers because of watching that movie, and I just want to mess with her if it's true, or tell her what it really was if it's not.

Does anybody know what this movie might be? I know it's pretty old because she watched it when she was little and she's 40 years old, but I'm hoping it won't be too hard to find.

I think I found the right one, cause I showed her just to see if it was it, and she jumped 10 feet in the air and said that was it. It's called Voodoo Island, and the little girl gets swallowed by a carnivorous plant, but she swears up and down that she remembers it being yellow, but it's a black and white movie. Even if it isn't it, I've found the closest thing I think.
