Please know that we are JOYMAX CO., LTD , KOREA, the publisher and operator of Silkroad Online and Silkroad-R (the “Game”).

It has been brought to our attention that you operate the website < > which distribute software services as a private server of the Game with no authorization from Joymax.

As you surely know, the sale, distribution and operation of illegal private servers of the Game infringes upon Joymax’s Intellectual Property and violates Joymax’s Terms of Use. If convicted and/or found liable, each act of infringement carries serious civil and criminal statutory penalties which, based on your website, won’t be hard to prove.

Therefore, take this email as a demand to shut down your website and related sites immediately. You will also provide Joymax with a confirmation of completion of items 1(a) to 1(f) in the attached letter.

If you fail to follow the demands of this CEASE AND DESIST letter by the End of [Oct 17, 2012], GMT, you will give Joymax no choice but to protect our Game and enforce our intellectual property rights against you.

Contact this email address immediately for any questions you may have.

This is legit. If you trace the email header it will redirect you to mail.joymax.com.

Even though, it only hit some servers, not all. If you haven't gotten this email (yet) you are fine for now.

Maybe i should post my other threat about it fck elitepvper mod closed it. I just wanted to warn you if you think its fake, fine.


We found out that they come from extremeTop100 to us. The joymax guy registered on our Webiste too -.-' 1 day later the email warning arrived.

They found us, so they will find the other... Playsro and so on.

And i will report playsro too in the mail to joymax later. Because i rlly rlly hate this team.

No offence, but you hate them because they are more proffesional that you ?

Playsro proffesional ? Our Website is 10x better and more special updates. just look on myth, they are much better in updates. But people just join in server which are full that is the problem. But we should stop this dicussion about playsro. I just hate them ,its my point of view :)

everybody who makes smth good makes themselves high, up head in sky, and bull the lowies. Thats why haters hate this kind of people - playsro team, etc.

Joymax will do all in its power not to be outdone by pservers, even of it means killing the game itself.

Excuse me, not because I'm the expert on this subject. However listen to this:

In order for Silkroad Online to even make a court order decision, for e.g. sue a server they will have to pay between 10 - 50 000 euro for an INTERNATIONAL lawsuit. With a thought that there is over 500 - 1000 servers, and let's say each "lawsuit" is around 20 000 euros: and let's say they sue 500 servers = 10000000 euros. I doubt very much that they will sue every server. And honestly, this is just a weak threat.

if game owners ever made action to pservers.. how come there's almost a pserver in every game that are alive up to this day..?
some get sued but not all.. i think it's just a matter of luck..

(no offense) the point with sharing server files was to make locale server between you and your friends (the people you know)
actually not to open unlimited number of servers they work only to get money (said before no offense :D )
so it's possible that they get mad you get their work and take their money that they should gain while you are the illegal one not them
i knew that they will do so , but it took too much time
better close your website and make your server private with your people only
