Exy linked it on Facebook, I watched the video and was sold. This is the first and only crowd funding game I've supported, because frankly it looks amazing.

Basically Eve Online, with fighter plane controls, and graphics good enough to probably melt my current PC. Also modding and afaik private servers for players to customise stuff. You can design a ship and if it is good enough it could be released into the official server (where you will earn money for it!)

Is the website. Watch the video and you should be pretty impressed considering the game is mostly at a concept stage currently.

A little reminder that the ships are kind off looking like the fleets In Star wars (Yes I'm a star wars tard)

But the overal effects etc are better then Star wars and so are the ships and I've watched the whole video.

But this game seems very different different then Star trek and the other games that I've played.

That sure is very impressive and though that they have been raised so much money.

Wow so many money on a game that's really impressive no wonder though because it seems to be such a cool game that you can't have a other choice just to stick your money in to it and you might be true I'm pretty sure they have more on backup.

Wow...just...wow...the idea is amazing...and I LOVED Wing Commander...so I know the AI and gameplay will be amazing...Cant wait...

Update: It raised $6.2mil.

Went for this after giving up hope of Infinity ever being released. Still, these gents should be able to churn out another kick-ass game!

The video was fantastic! This game is going on the wishlist after I can afford some new components and get my video card properly calibrated. Unemployment really kicks you when you are down.
