[PC] Driving simulators/games?

Just like to ask if any of you know any driving simulators for PC? There are a few driving/racing simulators I have tried such as:

• Live for Speed
• GTR Evolution (Race 07)
• City Car Driving (very laggy on my PC)
• 3D Driving School (German simulator with English language support)

But I'd like to ask if anyone knows any good "driving" simulators (not "racing") where you actually drive on roads with traffic, etc.

Sandbox games would be your best bet. On ps2, 'The Getaway' was amazing. You could drive through london in the big old buses, polcie cars, post office vans etc!

There is a game called 'Fuel' which is worth looking at. It has the biggest map in any game ever made. However there's little traffic. just endless roads

Thanks, yeah I play sandbox-style games on PS3 and had a look at Fuel, the graphics looks great but my PC won't be able to handle it and I can't be bothered to buy it for PS3. I'm trying to look for simulators with realistic cockpit view, etc. So far, Live for Speed has the best car interior and works great with my USB steering wheel. Just trying to find others, but thanks.

LOL I've played that, it's quite a good game although it doesn't have a cockpit view, apart from that it runs quite well on my PC. Speaking about Bus Driver, there's also Truck Simulators, etc, too bad they run really slowly on my PC.

you can always try GTA hahaha

Toca Race driver 3, BMW M3 (a game where you race only with 300m series)

I recommend Toca Race driver 3 because it has any car/vehicle that you want. But is hard like shit (of course ... is a simulator) .

P.S. Also GRID has nice physics , but is more a game than simulator.

I always play GTA, my favourite game of all time. But I'm trying to look for a simulator.
