just heard this was a good site to go to to get a little help on making an mmorpg emulator. Anyway we are trying to make an Earth and Beyond Emulator ,but are stuck. We have bypassed the login it seems ,but were not to sure what to do next. Anyway any help would be nice. Please post here or go to http://www.enbemulator.com/forum/index.php.
we have the client and server packets before EA killed it.
To create a server thats functioning, you need alot of packet dumps (a couple variations per action ingame). I dunno if you guys have that or not, but its a difficult thing to achieve, and you can't really do that anymore because well E&B doesn't exist.
In a normal Emulator Project, you would begin to see how the packets(lets say the start up dump packets, they prolly hold your charecter data, location of where you are, etc etc) interact with the client and then program the emulator based on that.
