I was wondering if Chumpy's EP2 client had support for the unique boss monsters?
If so, does anybody have a working server file to spawn those monsters?
If not, does anybody plan to create and release an EP2 patch?

Hey dude,
if you want new Monster on your server, use SweetScape 010 Editor and the Template's from Yamachi to do it by yourself :)

However, what I'm looking for isn't to create something new,
I'm wondering if anybody has the files for the boss monsters that were on the original server,
or if they're already in a release that I can just patch into my client/server as need may be...
(and wondering if they're already IN Chumpy's EP2 client?)

Pretty much all of the bosses possible from the original releases:
New Bosses + drops
well these are bosses from ep8 and you got only ep2 so you need to add them on your own... about the drops you cant have 3 crafts on a item in ep2. :p
As I asked, as many as possible, that people have already successfully installed...
Also, please clarify what you mean about the drops, for me please?
legacy Weapon is a special item...
there is no optionID to have 3 crafts on a normal item.
to the TS: use a serverpack from locasimon or someone else they have the big bosses.
Tried using it, but it disconnected on entering the Giant Beetle Dungeon, so went to Chumpy's 2.81 Christmas client... Does the loca pack have a good amount of the bosses?
In other words, is it really worth reinstalling again? lol...
Its pretty much easy to get all the bosses ID just by looking into a cabal_msg.enc (us or kor). The only problem you could get on is new structure of mobs.enc on official cabal and visual effects of the new bosses. There is no need to use someone files, would be much better if you try to do it yourself and maybe you might learn something useful.
That's part of why I want to do it: I learn best not by being taught, but tinkering and asking when i need help/don't understand something.
But how can just getting their IDs from the official server actually help add it to my client and server?
okay lets says you want to implement boss named Orca the Doom.( example). According to mine cabal_msg:
873 stands for a mob ID inside the mobs.enc. When you take a look inside mobs.enc, at that id you will find a linked .ebm file(which is ebm from monster inside your client.) When you want to add a new monster that lets say from never episodes you need to get their .ebm and .efx files placed correctly inside your client. After that you can add or replace an ID in mobs.enc with the link of your new mob and put their name in cabal_msg. However you might have an problem with new mob.enc due changed structure of enc and yamachi's template wont work properly.
