Call of Duty: Black Ops 2

Just got it today....so far it seems to be a very dark and disturbing game...like after the airport scene they are trying to push the envelope....

Gameplay is good...found a few annoyances like coming up from crouch you cannot start moving forward till the "uncrouching" is complete...

Recorded the Intro movie...it shows some insight into the new regime leader you will be encountering in this release. Very dark and disturbing...

On a side note...is it just me or does Harper sound exactly like Merle from The Walking Dead series?

I'm not getting this till Christmas because i just want to see how people think of the game as it set it the future I'm not too sure if its going be good . So far it seems to be good but not AMAZING as some of the others were so there is no need for me to spend lots of money on it. The intro you showed looked amazing.

Some of my friends say it's a good game, others say it's sh*t. I'll have to buy it and see for myself whether I like it or not... probably won't lol

Got this at midnight on the date of its release.
Got a nice bunch of goodies, wristbands, lanyard with a tag reading 'Midnight Launch', and a huge ass poster. The game itself is quite decent, some nice maps, zombies is awesome as usual. Heard there were some issues with pre-ordering from amazon, haha.

I just picked my today from my courier service I use to buy games from the U.S. Bought through Amazon and had no problems. Have not played as of yet, but when I do I will give my input.

Bought the game, all I can say is that it's almost the same.

The only thing that really changed was ;

-Zombies
-Killstreaks
-Guns
-Maps

Other then that I don't really see a big difference from any other of the cod's. HOWEVER...the campaign is freaking fun!!!!!

It's been the exact same since MW2. That's the reason I hate Call of Duty and will never buy another one again.

Ok..before actually commenting on it...I wanted to play a little....

So far the campaign is as stated before...a blast...

I do NOT like the RTS tactical version you are required to play to save India...if I wanted a RTS..I would have bought an RTS....

I loved the storyline and how it's all coming together...just finished the Nicaragua scenes and whew...Melendez is one bad mofo :)

Not much into the MP...I suck and always die too much...so can't comment on it...I buy for the campaigns.

The multiplayer maps are horrid. I feel like they're far more camper friendly than in the previous CoD games, which I absolutely hate and resulted in the game being killed for me.
Also I feel like they went over the top with some of the lay outs, but I like pretty much everything else.

The multiplayer aspect of the game differs. The maps are not really camper friendly but make you move around a lot more. Everything was done differently. You have to play objective if you wish to win. Guns are all well balanced and none out does the other. No pro perks so everybody is on even playing field. Obtaining weapon camos I would say is much more easier this time around.

Zombies is even better, had fun on that as well.

They actually did good for this game, minus the quickscopers which I feel they made it more easier for them and the shotguns are not to bad but can be insane from a distance.

You always had to play objective to win. They made it so you have to move yes, but you'd still consider it camping as the majority of people just move to "head glitch" spots, camp, retreat to the next "head glitch" spot when they start to get over run.
-Note, its easy as hell to kill them, it just gets annoying when every one in the game is just sitting behind them like little bitches. This is coming from an objective player.

Played it at my cousin's and I gotta say it was badass. Graphics seemed way better and everything, a lot more crisp and looked like the real time 3D light and displacement was spot on. Grossed fucking 500 Million Dollars in the first 24 hours of it's release... Half a billion dollars in one day. That is fucking mind blowing.

Aim Asist - This is a pain in the butt. Why older Cod games game you a slight assist the new system is just terrible. You will suddenly be jerked around or be pushed of a target due to some one running past or some one being insight of your screen. Also after playing for some time I noticed having aim assist on seems to force more recoil. Since removing aim assist I find I have alot more accuracy [funny the thing to help lost me accuracy].

Campaign,
This is by far to short once again. I really do not understand why they even bother with this part any more if they are not going to make it worth the time to play. I finished it on the first day of getting the game. That is never a good sign as in my opinon a game should have at least 40 hours worth of campaign to be worth while.

Zombies,
After all the hype nothing changed. The game modes are exactly the same just slightly edited but with no real progression. Zombies on Bops2 is the exact same as Bops other than the fact they have now given you the ability to fight against another team. I expected so much from the second install meant in regard to zombies and it failed.

The issue is there are so many ideas so many game modes so damn much they could have done and it seems they where once again just to damn lazy to progress.

Multiplayer,
The graphics seem easier on the eyes and this makes for a slightly more enjoyable experince. How ever the new system is just horrid.

Killstreaks - After hearing these would become pointstreaks I really hoped for a new progression but the issue is how they implemented this. Point streaks can be near impossible to get now and with no option for assualt or support like in Mw3 you simply feel there is no point playing objectivily as was the whole point of the change. With the fact you require like 4 kills for UAV and captures and tags are not worth the risk of attacking for most people camp or just continue to run around for streaks. So all this change seemed to do was force more people to camp.

Perks,
The new perk stacking system was a good idea but flawed. With the ability to stack 2 of the same perks you can pretty much rambo with a pistol. It really is stupid.

Attachments - Due to new perks you can now have 3 attachments. This is a HUGE issue with weapons like smg's that now have pin point accuracy with rapid fire. Sniper rifles are pretty much useless against a 3 attachment smg. Also the levels for unlocking attachments is retarded.

Ghost - Due to the complaints of sad children who complain about camping the ghost ability was nurfed so you only can not be seen if you are not moving. The issue is this was suppose to stop campers but with the ability only working why not moving people just camp worse now.

Damage - OMFG is all I can say. Some times you will have to play a whole clip in some one just to kill them. The balance on weapons is terrible and any user who says otherwise is a COD fan boy twat. I like cod but damn a pistol can be better some times than a smg when you can kill some one in like 6-8 shots with a pistol but require atleast have a clip to kill with a rifle or smg. Even a sniper rifle will take like 2-3 hits unless a head shot.

Objective based gameplay - Where? The new changes pretty much killed this style of play. No one now bothers rushing for bases or getting tags. It is pretty much just a tdm no matter the mode. Only search and destroy seems to be an exception.


Overall,
This game could have been amazing but it seems no one who developed it has any idea of FPS games. You might as well play mw3 as it is personally better. It just seems just because Bops 1 was good they got lazy as hell and decided to play silly buggers. And come on how long until you make a better spawn system? I swear the spawn system is the exact same one used in the very first COD multiplayer. Even a fix to the spawn system would fix this game hugly.

Im not too confident on buying this. When I bought MW3 I ended up going back to blops and playing that instead, so I dont really want to waste £40 on a game that I probably wont play, and cant really afford atm. I am going to wait for some more reviews, maybe borrow a friends game before deciding.

Well I'm not really seeing anything changing but it seems like a good effort, might go buy or order one.

There have been a lot lately changing so that can really make the game much better and though the reason that people buy Call of duty is only so they can play Multi player and nothing else really.

I've never seen any of my friends play Mission mode because for them that's really unnecessary they rather play it for online mode.

Infinity Ward make the modern type
Treyarch make the older ones (don't know a appropriate word for it)

Now Infinity ward went bust if im not wrong. Are Treyarch going to start making the modern / futuristic games now like they have in BO2

Well..I found another annoyance last night...was playing campaign last night...was goofing off on Hardcore...

I'm prone trying to crest a ridge to take out snipers on the roof and my team comes up behind me and pushes me...they are standing I am prone...over the ridge and I got popped...I was pissed...

I mean you can't even step over me?

Got this at Midnight on the release date, in overall I'd say its a good game.

I bloody love it! I've only played Multiplayer as of now but I'm 4th prestige or something, only play it weekends so smash it with my alcohol!

Can't wait to buy this game. I never get too involved with the campaign modes, but the multiplayer looks amazing.

It's an awesome game, seriously. Not going to lie, I reckon it's the best CoD yet.

Played it in 3D over at a mates, and it's pretty damn awesome.

Come on they must release an update with the old Weapons , i didnt like the new Future weapons .

but gameplay is good and i like the new kill strikes x)
