Character Creation [FIXED]

i have an issue creating new characters...everything seems to work fine until you hit "ok" to create the character, i get no error, it just doesnt do anything.

ive checked all my logs, and there are no errors.

any suggestions?

Does anyone have a suggestion? ive tried re-executing the character creation script, ive checked my shns and they all match between client and server.

with what server files?

the old ones. i dont use the odin release.

i do, but somehow i managed to break character creation. and i dont know how or what i did.

what was last things u did? change client, change db, close open ports?

the last things i did, was just some texture changes to maps. before that i removed/added some things from the itemshop/itemviewshop shn, and before that i added 2 mini pets.

-but as i dont make characters often i didnt notice when it started, or what i had done.

did it create a char on the db?

no, nothing happens on the database. at least nothing i can find. no new characters, nothing.

and did you tey a fresh account, to see if it happens then?

just tried that, made a new account, and still cant make a character. nothing pops up, just does nothing.

i think you broke it. not sure never had the issue. its ether a communication issue or you altered the create chat in the sql and its not working now. or your trying to use a differant client and it don'tm use the same char infomation. maybe you deleted something on the shns you shouldn't have.

Are the characters in the SQL once made? If they are (and I'm shooting from a long point here) try changing the class of them. I noticed before if you changed the class of a character to a number that isn't assigned they disappear until you change them to a registered number again. Again I'm shooting from long point here and could be completely off track.

everything your char recieves when being created should be in the shns, so cross ref the items and skills and stuff to make sure its all there.

all current characters are fine, its just i cant make new ones.

this happened to me a while ago. Try to create a female character with the long hair and skyblue color hair. This will give you a "0,0,0" (hair 0, color 0, face 0). And in the name something like "test". I fixed doing that.

If you cant still create it, try to remember what was the last changes you do on the server.

that didnt work either. the only things i have changed server sided since a character has been created, has been adding hair colors (now there are 100),i did switch hair colors 1-4 to new ones (could that be causing this error, well lack of anything), and adding a few items, and switching to my older itemshop/itemshopview shns.

It's the 1-4 hairs.
