Ask Becca Thread.

Well, following a tradition started by Raff I believe (tell me if I am wrong!) then followed by Cameron, I thought I would make an Ask me anything thread!

A few rules to follow:

1. Real questions please. No "how big are your tits" or "what shall I get from the shops?" Ill just infract/warn
2. Dont turn this into a discussion thread between yourselves.
3. DO NOT take the piss out of other peoples problems.

Easy to follow :) So, as me anything! Relationship problems, family problems, friend problems whatever, ask me, and I will advise the best I can. :)

I'm glad I've been active on Ragezone for the last few days to see this. Ha I do truly feel honored thank you :P. I think it's great that Cameron & your self are/had a crack at this. Just last like I told Cameron, you have my blessing good luck ^_^.

This is awesome. I know my thread lasted a short while and died out, but it was really fun helping people if I could. But your thread will be interesting to watch as now we have opinions and advice coming from a female!

Honestly I do not know. I question the same thing. Maybe they enjoy the excitement, maybe they enjoy having something to moan about. Ive had boyfriends in the past that would put me down and undermine me all the time. They lasted months, sometimes barely a week. I really dont concider myself a 'normal' girl (Whatever normal is)

All I can say is, usually the girls that like drama will always be hunting for drama, or be creating drama. So usually you should stay away from girls like that, as there will ALWAYS be a problem.

I guess it's the former after quite a few of the latter?
I mean, I did have some rather nasty back-stabs from the people I didn't expect quite a while ago that left me, well, disappointed, and then I sort of generalised.
All that drama may have affected me a bit and made me too distrustful for my own good.
And now striking new relationships is difficult, mostly because I already expect the person to back-stab and don't really open up.
While distrust is great in small amounts, I think that friendship [strike]is magic[/strike] is about trusting each other, not just having knives at each other's backs.
Cheesy, but that's how I roll.
So, does this provide any insight at all?

I'm interested to see what Becca says because I have the same issue. Been burnt too many times by people close to me I just instinctively find it hard to trust anyone now, and just like LDM it's diminished my ability to make new relationships, or even strengthen some current ones.

I will start on a friend who has screwed your trust:

It takes a long time for trust to be built, but dont ever never give them a chance. People are human, people make mistakes, people have urges that they know are wrong but do it anyway. (eg, doing things behind peoples backs, stealing)
Let people gain that trust back. You need to tell them that you have no trust left with them because of what they did.
Saying that though, some people cant be trusted at all. Learn what situations that they cant be trusted and make sure you dont put yourself, or them in that situation where you know they will do something untrust worthy! (My boyfriend had a friend that he will NEVER let in his home no matter what, and all his other friends feel the same)

On the you dont trust anyone point:

Stay like that, just dont hold your guard up as much. Not everyone will fuck you over, but you dont know with strangers, sometimes even with friends. My Dad taught me that you cant trust anyone. Dont lend money, dont rely on anyone. Ive taken that to a curtain extent as I think that is a bit extreme. His point is that if you dont rely on anyone, then no trust is needed.

My last point is I think you should get some new friends if all they are doing is stabbing you in the back, and causing you to have no trust in anyone.

If she liked you she you would be dating now. Unless she isnt too sure and hanging around with you more to see if she is sure or not. Carry on like you are for a while, and see what she does. If she just carries of flirting but not doing anything she is being a cock tease and loving it. If not, then unfortunatly the feeling is only on your part. Love is a waiting game, and sometimes you are waiting for a while :(

Girls like douchebags because they like to feel safe. If they want to dump him, they have the easy way out of "oh, he was an asshole." Typically, douchebags are more good looking. Because well, why would you have a 6 pack if you're not an asshole? Girls who like douchebags, are typically hot girls. Hot girls can't be seen with a less attractive guy, that would just break the rules of being a hot girl. Basically, the only reason girls date douchebags is because they're looking for something, maybe a heart or some feelings, under that chiseled gay porno body... but usually there is nothing. Just a hard outer shell.

Im guilty for friend-zoning guys :P But it is possible to get out of the friend zone. Im not sure how really, if you are meant to be together, then you will get out of the friend zone. One of my ex boyfriends was in the friend zone before we started dating. You cant force someone to like you so it is all down to fate and feelings.
