Adding new Quest (new files)

Hello,

i have Problems with adding new Quest on the new Files.
QuestData.shn and QuestDialog.shn are fine but i don't get any Quest from the NPC.
Is it only possible to edit already added Quest?

Nope, or maybe they just haven't looked in this area :D?

Which quest editor are you using, and how exactly are you "adding" your quests?

I use iQuest_Buster from muno release. I add first the Dialog/Titel/Decription in QuestDialog.shn and then i open iQuest, Duplicate a Quest and Edit Start NPC/Level/Start-Action-End Script and Rewards/Mobs (Adding also on Mob List the NPC to give the Quest the NPC back after finish it)

Did you make sure to not delete any "Slime" or "Leather Boots"? Did you give it a non-existing ID?

You should quickly check the QuestData with hex, just to be sure its correct.

I don't remember the structure on the old OS one (byte wise), but it'd be best to search for the source and check what its doing in VS.

Have anyone else any Idea how to fix it because i can't find any Problem with the QuestData.shn

it works for me, added 4 quest yesterday without problem :S

On new Files or on Old Files ? Because on old files i have no Problems :S

new files. Make sure you set up there are no prequest requisite, dont delete the slimes ant the leather boots, the starting npc is a true NPC and the quest id and the quest message ids are smaller than 65530

I really don't know anymore whats wrong. Its like you use another Quest Editor where all work fine xD
So i have now duplicate only the first Quest (Baby Step) and changed the Start NPC. After the changes the new added Quest isn't showed Ingame.

If you have time can you fast look at my QuestData.shn? Thank you so much if you can.

I looked your file (Total of 1650 quests) and I can only see 5 quests - 1 for each class (IDs: 1, 944-946, 60047).
Considering your sentence that you added a new one with different starting NPC I can only conclude that your iQuest isn't saving the file, because I don't see the newly added quest.

Okay can you send me your iQuest Editor?
When i Open iQuest i see this
