Using Cloudflare, the clientl disconnects when someone is ddosig the site?
Hey! Here lately I added Cloudflare on my hotel, but when someone DDoS everyone disconnects from the client, how to solve that? PS: I use a DDoS proy too.

If that is the case then someone knows your VPS IP address

How many times can people have the same issue every single week? Buy a motherfricking proxy, fgs. If you can't afford it then contact your VPS company about help for these issues. I feel like you've started the same thread a lot of times.

Like BatDev mentioned, I think somebody knows your IP address.
Might be better for you to order an extra IP address on the server and switch to that if who-ever haves it wants to keep on having fun so then they wont know the new one if all is protected.

Yes, someone knows my websites IP before I got proxy on, I am purchasing an extra IP now!

You need to learn about networking and computing in general. If your hotel ever becomes big, you're going to be fucked if you don't know the basics. The whole idea of cloudflare and a 'DDoS Proxy' as these kids are calling it, is to hide and conceal your REAL IP address from the public. You can have the best protection in the world, but if some one knows your actual server IP they can still attack it and knock it offline. Cloudflare or a proxy does not automatically mean you're protected. Part of protecting your self is being knowledgeable. Consider completely firewalling your server and isolating any public contact to it (set firewall rules for cloudflare for port 80, only allow RDP connections from your home IP address(s) and firewall the 'proxy' IP for your game port.

What the hell are you on about? Cloudflare does offer free DDoS protection. If your attack is stupidly big then you will most probably need to pay for professional. But let's face it. The people who attack are kids and only use booters. You won't find habbofags building 15 Gbit botnets.

Get your old IP address null routed, use your new one and follow my advice in the first quote.

Re: Using Cloudflare, the clientl disconnects when someone is ddosig the site?
Using a proxy doesn't mean your hotel is fully secure. As if you for example purchased a proxy from IZServ.com, and took the cheapest one $9,99, 10Gbps DDoS protection, that means you only got 10Gbps DDoS protection, so if people were to DDoS higher than 10Gbps on the IP of the proxy and the port that you use, that would mean they attack your server directly. But if they didn't attack with your port, and just port 80 that would mean they are trying to boot the main server, which probably has more than 100Gbps DDoS protection in it in order to hold that many server IP's at once.
Short story, the proxy you bought, if people boots it with higher amount than your proxy protection is, and same time your port for your proxy, that means direct hit to your VPS.

When someone hits it with Floods Higher then 10Gbit the migration system can cope with up to 20Gbit attacks. Once the limit is hit the proxy would simply go down and lag out.
Depends upon the load of our Hosting Providers filtering systems.
