Phoenix :buy command = Laggy ._.
Hey there guys,
I've noticed that since I switched over, the lagg is less, but it still laggs, when you use the :buy command, and then purchase the furniture, it laggs you for about 10 seconds, it basically buys the furni's one by one, should it not buy it in one so it doesn't lagg like that? Or is it something wrong with my setup? It's really annoying, and my hotel barley laggs for me, this is the only time I really lagg out badly!
Cheers!

Your inventory is full of furnitures?
I've noticed a problem with the fact that when you have a lot of furnis in your inventory, it takes so long to Phoenix to actually purchase the furni. If you empty your inventory, Phoenix take less time to buy the furni.
Re: Phoenix :buy command = Laggy ._.
Nope, inventory practically empty...
Re: Phoenix :buy command = Laggy ._.
Isnt it just a bad table design in mysql ?
If the table design is bad it can take quite long until a query has finished.
Might wanna check into that ;).

Have you indexed all the tables? Might help a bit.

This video should explain everything, Phoenix Emulator - MySQL Indexing - YouTube.
Re: Phoenix :buy command = Laggy ._.
I think it runs the same query over and over again, so it's very easy for the server to lag out that way. Indexing and some config tweaks should help. I think Aaron would have to change it so it would do it all at once.

Are prepared statements possible in C#?
Re: Phoenix :buy command = Laggy ._.
Still looking for some help, I shouldn't have to index my tables, it's buying the item one by one, this is why it's lagging, is it because of a mis-configuration or just because Aaron didn't code it correctly -.-?
Re: Phoenix :buy command = Laggy ._.
As i said fix up your db..
As the db is probably badly created. meaning the design of the tables
set keys etc indexes stuff like that might fix it up.
Even if a item is bought 1 by 1 mysql should handle that no problem how many requests do you think a website gets ?
Never looked at the db of any habbo server so aint gone help you with that.
Just study up a bit on mysql and how to optimize it.
