Hi!
Everybody is crying about the hopeless badge.php script what's included with the basically swf files.

It's not made by but it's way much better :).

It isn't saving every time the loaded badge. This script is only making the badge and showing it. It's saving you much Mb's!

Wouldn't it be more efficient to use switch case than else if?

You're right. If I got time I'll edit it and release it.

944 lines of code for a simple badge generator makes me cry. This could be done way more efficient by detecting the amount of layers and loop the whole generator. And caching the badge shouldn't take up that much space. Badges are not that big..

It isn't coded by me but I think it is quite good how it is. What does matter? If it looks nice or works fast?

Benchmark tests reported that they were about the same (I was previously mis-informed) - so in which case, switch cases would be more suitable on the eye.

I programmed a badge generator for R63B.
It takes the generated Badges from my Webspace
and it saves the badges was loaded from your server local.

Why don't you release the badge script? This is only slower for other people ?

I want to use it for my own project and it should be special feature, which not everyone has.

in the German scene, there are unfortunately always enough people who criticize in a very obscene pronunciation the work from people from the scene.
so I am used to not to publish, my work which puts a lot of work

Hmm.. A badge generator is not a 'special' feature. It's just something what groups need in the client..
Even a badge generator isn't very hard to script and certainly not a lot of work!

I've even programmed.
There are over 600 lines of code, 633 to be exact.
the generator is perfect.
It is 100% as the one of the Habbo.de / .com.
So yes, it is especially.

The group badge script released was missing a lot of images and fucked them all up.

This is not a badge maker, it's a GROUP badge maker...
