[Unity 3D] Project Endtown
I want you to meet my new project called endtown as time'll post more demonstrations maps and other new things. I tried to let the most realistic environment possible, and sound constructions. And also added rain, which is a new thing in my projects.
Why 'endtown'? I like horror games and always liked silent hill, resident evil and others, so I'm inspiring this kind of game to create something
First Map - What it contains:
- Fog (mist)
- Dark Environment
- Forest more alive and real with some effects: insects, falling leaves and lawn that moves, flies well positioned.
- Setting of a city destroyed and abandoned
- Some enemies just for demonstration
- Lighting Effects
- I added sound to the project to give a thriller
- Rain (I learned something new)

Re: [Unity 3D] Project Endtown
How long you have been working on this project? Got a similar im working on. So if you do need any help you can send a pm.
Re: [Unity 3D] Project Endtown
the first map that showed the video I made in one day (albeit small), I am now working on the second map. when finished will review them and make some changes.
The project will take, because I try to model 3D characters with animation and also models and structures are hard to find but I will continue with what I have.
Here most of the second SS map:

Re: [Unity 3D] Project Endtown
The map designs look pretty simple, but simple is good! I see you are using OneManArmy's FPS Kit as a base for your project. Is this done in Unity 4, or 3.5? Good luck by the way :)
And might I ask, where did you learn to design maps on Unity? I've been trying to get a hang of it, but I'm so used to BSP map editing it's kind of weird transitioning into this style of mapping.
EDIT: I know the basics of level design like Terrain and what not, but placing objects seems so tedious, and getting things perfectly placed in the scene, it's kind of hard to be exact on placement.
Re: [Unity 3D] Project Endtown
I'm using version 4.0 (current) and this kit armedunity fps. Actually I do a text will look like and what will the maps easier to use when selecting objects.
I have not finished this map and will get a bit bigger than that, I prefer things simple is easier and faster to continue.
In this case use terrarian of unity, some models such as the creation of trees and grasses can be done in a way automatically (I think already know that) without having to by one by one. Now part of the objects, lighting, flooring and even trees have to be placed manually and accurately using a set of cameras (own layout of unity) to see if everything is aligned.
Thanks, I'll continue the project and if you need any tips erstou here to help. I know the basics and made no progress but I'm getting upset at the level of design, which I find difficult is 3D animation and characters even more realistic 3D structures.
Re: [Unity 3D] Project Endtown
Looks nice, i hope it will be going good.
Re: [Unity 3D] Project Endtown
Video of the second map is showing as 'in-game' for better viewing.
In the video already put fog, sound and lighting.
Remembering that this is not the final version of the map because it still lacks a few things and I intend to let a little bigger but is already almost finished and ready to be placed and ouras things like npc enemies etc ...
Only one sample.

Re: [Unity 3D] Project Endtown
I want to create three maps, practically made two in unity and now I'm going to share that life with him, put npc, enemies and possibly some puzzle. This part will take a while but soon I'll post new things.
