Re: Running Episode 8 Server
x86 system support only 3,5GB of RAM, maybe you are taking errors for this reason.
3,5GB of RAM is to little for a Cabal Server
imagine the scene
one VM
one client
one data bank
All these under a Real machine with 3.5GB of RAM, isn't good
Re: Running Episode 8 Server
4,35GB of ram is my consumption when running it all on one PC.
VM in VM works but does not function well,..
Re: Running Episode 8 Server
Well, i asked about the operating system, and now you jumped to components, i know how much ram support x86 and x64, i just asked if the x86 support that server or not, because i saw few guys have the server working, and few not(including me), and we all followed same tutorial, and how this can be possible?!? Just because of the operating system.
Again to my question: Is there anyone whit Windows (x86) running a EP 8 Cabal Server?

Re: Running Episode 8 Server
if u are doing server in a LAN, NO need forward ports, just turn off the CentOS's firewall
