[SOLVED] Linux IP Changing
Hello Again Guys,
I was just inquiring if there is anyway to alter the Linux IP Address yourself?
Or better yet, if there is a way to keep the IP Address as it is.
The reason for this is because my linux ip address changes every 5 minutes and i have to keep changing the IP Address in the main server files.
It is annoying; if there is a way then fantastic, let me know. If there is no way, then i will just have to survive with changing the IP address all the time.
Thanks,
-Jord
Re: [Help]Linux IP Changing
Network connections>wired>edit>ipv4>method:manual> then add an adress (ex: 192.168.1.100), netmask:255.255.255.0, and set gateway and dns server.
