The reputation points are getting way out of hand. Someone keeps giving me a bad reputation for no reason and when I had -19 I couldn't post. The reputation system needs to be treated with more respect, or just get rid of it. I don't want to have to make new accounts just to post because people are idiots and give bad rep for no reason. Can someone who looks here give me positive reputation points so im not in the negatives. Please get this sorted out please..

Your reputation has nothing to do with being able to post or not, it's just a indicator of popularity, yes i said popularity, that and people exchanging rep.

LoL! Makes me laugh because someone (Will not be named) has been sending reps saying "+1 rep me plz plz plz plz" made me laugh lol. But yes your right, if it's abused then it should be taken away.

Actually that's not what this system is for, it's actually to approve/disapprove of a certain post, sometimes a nice person can make a really retarded comment and people disapprove of it, yet people like the person.
Personally i think a overall system would be better though, like give a person a voting, like a 6 or a 7, something you can change ofcourse, that way you get a better idea of a person, because personally i only use it when a person makes a really good or bad post, there are people who generally just make normal posts and i would never rep them.
Lightwarrior, you need a x amount of reps between it, although i guess that doesn't work perfect if someone decides to just mass rep people.
It's not important and won't be used correctly by most anyway, so don't sweat it.

Can you make it to where mods only give out rep, and then once someone has gotten high enough rep, then they can rep too?
So far i've gotten -25 rep =/ both from mods i think -_-

Rep should be used for something funny , like $ for an arcade or rpg thingie

I'd say make it have one or both of these requirements to rep:
1. 200 posts
2. Joined for over a year
It will reduce the abuse to a minimum, IMO. That will also prevent people from making accounts and mass repping for no reason.

and this is why it is (as far as i have seen) imposible to rep someone twice so they cant abuse it. if they make multiple acounts and give you a bad rep with each of them (or you are suspicious that someone is) then contact an smod and they'll check the ip's and maybe ban the person.
who cares about rep? i mean seriously! It's just a little counter on your account showing if people like you or not. I couldent care less if people liked me or not... let alone give a crap if they voted for liking me.
