Has to be a record, breaking win8 in less than 5min, haha.
You should rarely need an admin account, like ever. Windows has just spoiled people for so long, it's a massive security issue tbh. That was pretty much exactly what User Account Control fixed.

ive ALWAYS done this on all windows, first time had a problem never ad a problem, they only say that for ppl who dont know what there doing, btw UAC littrly does nothing, to slow or prevent(HAHHAHAAHAHHA) hackers and other suck programs, it just slows the user down.

It removes admin privileges from being on by default, to a user popup. It was a stop on the road to getting users to accept they don't need to be an admin all the time, which everyone was use to on XP.

unless you did the "Administrator " (with the space) for a name, there you where full admin, and you still could do it the other way, witch ive always done. its just adds problems if your not.
but why am i telling you this, please read your sig, it explanes it better then i could.
i like you be able to use my computer with full freedom, now you could say its not about that but it is to me.
Re: i just installed windows 8
And you got your freedom. However it comes at a price. The Windows store requires a MS account, if you don't use one, then you can't use it.
Re: i just installed windows 8
i have one just wont ever use the store.
Re: i just installed windows 8
wow, windows slow ya net speed down, distorts auido, and even lags... lol... next month ill be switching back.
Re: i just installed windows 8
Windows 8 is definitely not for personal use. I'd never install that trash on my PC for everyday use..
Re: i just installed windows 8
I have a good feeling about Windows 9.
Re: i just installed windows 8
I'm sorry
but what do you expect to go RIGHT when your using a phone's OS redesigned on a PC to be used for tablets.
If companies have to force a new operating system on computers to get people to use it theres a reason.
Re: i just installed windows 8
There's a reason why the admin account is separate...
Mainly because if everyone who used the computer had full admin privileges on everything, that would bring up security issues.
I'm not sure why you would think it was a good idea to delete the "user" account and just run with the admin one.
The store being disabled on the admin account is more than likely protection from said security issues, and I wouldn't necessarily classify it as a "bug" of Windows 8. Especially not considering it "broken" as some others have said.

Maybe because I have new hardware?
This has nothing to do with the thread topic.

The Apple App Store requires an Apple ID and the Google Play store requires a Google account (from what I remember when I owned a Galaxy S), go figure :P:

Re: i just installed windows 8
Pretty big flaw yeah. Most people are too used to using an Admin account for everything.
