The Playstation 4 ~Next generation of gaming

Yes! It has finally been announced! The playstation 4 was finally announced at the sony conference. I have to to say that it looks like the next level stuff. I was pretty breath taking from what I saw. Also many new company's are now in partnership with sony BECAUSE of the playstation 4. Blizzard will now put Diablo III on PS3 and PS4! Bungie is also making a new game called Destiny with activision! You can also except more from square enix(Makers of final fantasy!).

What do you guys think about the new partnerships,systems and gameplay?

Atleast it isn't all Xbox anymore, Bungie only made Halo for Xbox now PS4 is going to get everything exclusively like Xbox 360 did when PS3 didn't. They also said Destiny will be exclusive to the PS4.

Also, I think I may leave the Xbox and go straight for the PS4 when its released.

I don't own an xbox, 360, PS1, PS2, PS2 infact all I got console wise is a nintendo 64 lol. With the Playestation 4 coming out whenever I might get it, after I read some reviews whenever.

er.. no its not they made it for xbox as well dose there research before hand? and Bungie made halo for MS xbox becuase they owed money to MS.

The WII U was the first Next gen imo.

I might get this in a few years maybe, still think Microsoft will produce a better console as they usually do.

I haven't been following with the updates of Konami and Square Enix, But are there any upcoming sequels for Final Fantasy or Suikodens games on PS4?

There's no stated price, at the moment. It's rumored to be in the £300 GBP zone. The PS4 can be reserved for £20 GBP here in the UK, but there's no actual price set.

Erm you sure? That sounds EXTREMELY cheap. Considering the PS2 & PS3 were more than that when they were released...

Yeah I'm sure. But like I said it's only *rumored*. It was stated in there that the PS3 was around £100 more than what the PS4 is to be upon release.

Ah that could make sense, when the PS3 came out blueray was just still new and even at over $900 it was still cheaper than any Blueray player on the market. Sony was losing on the sale of every PS3, it cost them more to make it than they sold it for. But it's been a while and it's pretty mainstream now so it would be alot cheaper, not to mention the APU they made with AMD would most probably cost less than the cell processor and dedicated GPU the PS3 has.

It seems like a nice system, but I just hope they make a good UI or charge for PSN.

No wtf? Thats why i have a PS3. So that i dont have to pay for online multiplayer. The PS4 Controller is pretty nice though :P

You complain about paying for XBL on a different thread yet you want them to charge for PSN? facepalm/

I'm not too fond of the PS4 Remotes really. The current remotes which are standard cost £30.00 odd. With a built in Mic and touch screen pad on it. Arn't we talking about £40-50 for a Remote?
