What can make this lag?

Hi ragezone I got a pretty strange problem I ve installed the cabal server on a dedicat server machine (16gb ram quad core whit a ssd sata3 ) The strange thing is that I got lag...
The virtual machine(CentOS server 5.9) is set on 8gb ram whit dual core the OS working fine no lag using it. The speed of the internet is also good

So my question is what my cause the lag ? it stays 2-4 sec just to login ;\ and i had the same configuration whit no lag...

It could be your distance/location from the server that's causing the lag? Try to ping the server's IP address in cmd.exe, above 300 ping = laggy server.

Well i host the server at my home so using the ip gives me the under 3ms but this solved my problem thanks

well did u run yum update ? !

was a hardware problem the modem was broken (solved)
