Oh, they're banning them in other countries? I'll be happy to eat the meatballs in America :)
Couldn't really care less about all this horse meat crap recently, we've probably been eating it for years and no one's popped their clogs from it yet!
Yeah, my country temporarily suspended all sales of it, but should be up again when DNA reports are out.
Horse meat is extremely common, from memory it's the most consumed meat in France above even chicken & beef. The issue here is that there's extra meat mixed in & they have no idea where it came from, the fact that it's horse meat is irrelevant.
On a side note, wtf. I wouldn't trust any food sold in IKEA to begin with... o.O
I've never eaten at Ikea out of all the times I've been
Point is? In other countries it's a delicacy, I ate it in another country and I didn't see what the fuss is? It's perfectly edible and tastes pretty good. People are only over reacting that they are being miss-sold the meat they asked for.
This is what I am thinking too. At first, yeah, we should have the right to know what we are eating so if we buy a beef burger then we expect it to be made with just beef. Now more and more places are being brought forward, I can't help but think it is getting out of hand and people are over-reacting. <.<
Delicoussss
Agreeing with Evilkitten. Hearing the same thing everyday; it's starting to become annoying.
They've started to find quite a few companies now who sell horse meat, it's not long until the other companies that use Horse Meat are exposed.
At this point, I'm so glad I'm vegetarian.
Horse meat can be found in almost every meat nowadays
