Honestly, I say stick to your dreams and do what you feel don't let people put you down.
Don't code it, no shading and really bad colour choice.
Close to no shading, horrible colours, don't code it, I'm sorry.
Don't stop making customs, but this one is horrible, try to experiment more with shading, etc.

Try keeping the shading.
Its not the worst custom I've ever seen, but it isnt the nicest, try some more shading next time, then code it.
I'm pretty sure that you could do better
