Not sure if you're wanting F2P or not, so here's some games you may like;
Paid-
Deadlight
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Borderlands 2
Portal 1/2
F2P-
Wizardry Online (Got de-initialized from Steam to be worked on some more, and I have no idea if it returned. You can actually use the following steam URL to install it: steam://install/221360team://install/221360.
Planetside 2
ROSE Online or EVE if you like them sort of games..
EDIT: I don't believe that Steam URL works outside of the Steam client, so visit this thread and click the link. http://steamcommunity.com/app/221360...4052766120581/
I do not watch Anime, but my brother does. I can ask him for a few tips for series and movies - if you want.
As for games;
Me and my friends (we're 5 in total) -- are actively playing Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead. Which is - in my opinion - a worthwhile game.
Not everyone likes the kind of game style for this game, but we're in love with this game. And now with the Alpha release of Arma 3 - we're going to be actively playing that as well.
If you wish to join our late night Arma 2 and Arma 3 sessions - hook me up with your Steam ID or click my Steam profile to the left of this post and add me.
Other games which I enjoy spending my time on are;
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (The original game. CoD4)
Call of Duty: WaW (Solely playing Zombies)
Dead Island (Zombie Game with a lot of content. A 40 hour game for those boring weekends)
As for Hack'n'Slash, there is only 1(2) game(s) that comes to mind: Torchlight.
The former developers of Diablo made an awesome job at remaking the same feel of Diablo 1&2, but with a whole lot more content and nice graphics to go along with that.
They've also released Torchlight 2.
I don't know if you've heard of these, that's why I'm so detailed, since both of them are very good games.
Also, hence the "1(2) game(s)" - Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. This is a really good Hack'n'Slash. I prefer to call it a hack'n'slash, considering; that's all I do on the game, besides the main story line.
Anyways, I have a few other games in store, but I don't want to write a tl;dr post here, so I'll just leave this here.
Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately, I'm yet to have the equipment to support steam :(
If ever, maybe I'd play Dota2.. hehe..
I've seen Rose Online and it's interesting. A rather good choice for casual gamers since the graphics aren't all that serious :D
I've also played Dragon Saga, to give you an idea :D
you play Nazi Zombies solo? up to what round did you reach? It's one of the features that me and my friends enjoy because of the thrill of having to search for more powerful weapons and delaying tactics to finish off the zombie hoard.. haha..
I've tried Torchlight and I agree that it's like an upgraded version of Diablo. hehe.. No offense to Diablo fanatics.
From the games you've mentioned, I'm kinda curious about Arma 2. What genre is it? Can you tell me more about it?
Thanks to both of you! :D
I play Nazi Zombies with my friends. I've only reached Level16 on Nazi Zombies solo. Level26 with my friends.
None taken :P
It's a Military Simulator - sort of. It's a realistic playstyle, where's you jump off a roof, you can break your legs. You get shot in the foot - you can't walk. 1 shot to the head - you're dead.
Helicopters are nicely made, not the most realistic controls for Jets or Heli's, but they've released a game solely for that, I believe it's called: Take on Choppers, or something similar.
But as this game is supposed to be played as a FPS/3PS game, it only has a few of the "simulator" aspects, to make it... Playable. =)
It's a great game all around and only costs around 25€ nowadays.
Planetside 2, far to laggy out side USA.
Path of Exile is a nice a-rpg for pc..
Try the crysis series!
Or just crysis 3. Youtube it for vids.
I agree with you on that one. Although Crysis 3 for PC probably wouldn't be suitable. I believe if your hardware isn't at a certain requirement, a message displaying something along the lines of "You need a DX11 capable GPU to play Crysis 3" will appear.
Considering he said he's "yet to have the equipment to support steam" - I assume Crysis 3 is currently a no no.
Note: I'm aware Crysis 3 isn't on Steam, yet Origin. I was referring to, if he doesn't have the equipment to support Steam, I imagine he won't for Origin, either.
Who doesn't have a DX11 GPU nowadays? I mean, the 460 cards from ages ago, runs DX11 - people who haven't upgraded to those, can't even play CoD4.
Crysis 3 is playable on high settings on my old 560 card, recording on high without FXAA - 60 solid FPS.
The power of nvidia <3
I understand you ATI users can't comprehend things like this =)
Currently playing RaiderZ, its a MMORPG hack & slash style. Pretty nice if you ask me ^^
video made me droooooooooooooooool!!!!! LOL! thanks for the suggestion.. makes me wish I had the gear already to play it.. hahaha
It looks a lot like Diablo.. I'm not much of a fan of the genre.. thanks for the recommendation though.. :)
I liked Torchlight better.. the graphics weren't too serious.. if you know what I mean.. hehehe :D
Prototype 2
Devil May Cry 5
Counter Strike Cz
GTA IV
