no this isnt by wemade entertainment ( person who thought its from the same ppl who brought u mir, ur WRONG! :P. this game was developed by shanda (shamda as i like to call em, since they stole 80% of the content from mir 1.9 and mir 3) interactive, which did some work on mir for wemade at some stage i believe, but wasnt given any credit i think. there was a large court battle over copyright infringement between wemade and shanda, and apparantly since shanda played a large part in the graphic art, they had the right to reproduce most of the work. considering the most part of the game is infact gfx, its understandable that they could release it as a diff game ( + a few new things of course)

are these files for hosting a server or joining one? I have no idea how to get these files to work so i can join a server.

Im having some trouble setting these files up, mental, have you had them working, with the Woool v7 client?

It could be based on Mir version 1.9, but it is an entirely different game. The engine is different for starters, which is what most people look for. Then the game system itself is signifantely different, not much to bitch about then. For similarities, sure there are tons, but look at the entire industry. They are all immatations of Ultima, the original source of this type of video game. Look a sword, oh my a horse! Whoa, a level up system!! <--Butsechz

After looking through the entirety of the game, or what I could find, I could only conclude that these games are not to alike. I could only see different and more detailed mobs. A different map system, wings, weapons, armor, and accesories. The interface was similar, but even that can be contested to about a dozen other titles, all of which are asian. However, most titles have a relatively similar interface. When I say most, I mean all(within the genre). Hell, the game looks much more impressive than Mir.

Didn't wemade ent. split up about 2-4 years ago. The one of the presidents had a problem and wanted to split, so he started woool. Well thats my recollection of it.(Can't remember exactly what happened... Feel like im turning into an old man hah)
