Pre-ordered the Collectors Edition of GTA V then 3 weeks later (After I'd paid it all off) Get told that they "don't have enough sorry, you've been downgraded to the Special Edition but will receive the GTA V Wireless headset for free." Made me a bit disappointed as I would have waited longer as long as I got the Collectors Edition.. Oh well. But I am pumped so much for the game play video I have set my alarm clock to get up 10 mins before the reveal so I can watch it :P Really can't wait for the release.

What You Have All Been Waiting For.
Well I just finished watching the gameplay, and wow. GTA V looks great! The ability to play as three different characters at anytime. You can interact with wildlife, watch the streets evolve, and much much more. The quality of the game is amazing. From what I have seem you can set up how and with who some missions are complete.
I have also noticed activities such as sky diving. You can spend your money on anything you want in this game! From homes to business to even more. I would love to hear what you guys think about the game.

Could be the way forward for the dlc? Extra characters with action packed storylines.
I do know with the collectors edition, you can play as Niko Bellic on GTA Online.
Also - They've finally re-added purchasing property. :drool:

I guarantee you'll need a gaming rig to play it. Not just any old setup thrown together like mine is unfortunately :( I have 8 GB of RAM, 2 HDD's about 100 GB each (one is an SSD) a decent nvidia gfx card and a core 2 quad processor and I probably won't even be able to run this game on the lowest settings.

Thank god i have a console. Acer Aspire v3 wont run it without lag on the minimum settings( I have i3 for some reason instead of the i7)

I think they might not even release this game for the PC, everyone with a good PC set up at the moment will need to upgrade if it does get released on PC, just a thought that Rockstar are saving people money.

As it seems gangs from San Andreas are back.

I wonder if we like actually get to interact with the family of Michael ( If im right he played tennis with his son)
The voice of Franklin is alot like CJ's voice from San Andreas(same person probably)
the cars looked nice.

GTA 5 will most probably be released for PC some time after the console releases. They've released all previous GTA titles for the PC platform, so it's quite obvious as there's no reason for why GTA 5 shouldn't be released for PC. Hopefully, they will do a better job at optimising it this time!

The gameplay video was from a console. And as Rockstar have said, GTA IV onwards is basically a whole new universe, it is unlike GTA San Andreas or any other previous GTA titles therefore the same characters would not be in this new 'universe'. Remember how GTA:SA and GTA3 were connected? That's because they were both in the same universe.

And the voice actor of CJ (Young Maylay) is not going to be the same voice actor for Franklin. But I must admit, in some of the scenes from the trailers, they sound quite similar.

oh i finished reading the whole article.. those are estimated but it says that Rockstar will release the real specs soon.
I am gonna be very happy when those are the specs... but if you buy it from steam the download will be long if you dont have a good internet connection. luckily i just got new internet (100Mb/ps) so i get like 20 megabytes a second sometimes when downloading from steam.

I know this is just their estimated system requirements but in my personal opinion these specs would be too low. 512mb graphics memory... lmao... you'd probably get about 5 FPS if you're lucky lol
You'll definitely need a GPU such as NVIDIA GTX 580 or 670 or equivalent. About 4GB RAM, preferably more, and to get the best results - have an Intel i7 processor.
Well, let's just wait and see until the real system specs are released :):

i am going out to buy an intel i7 processor tomorrow.. the i3 i have right now ruins my gaming expierence.. once i get i7 everything should run smooth or smoother.
I cannot wait for this game. 2 months and 7 days left untill it comes out for the consoles :)

I've got an AMD FX-4100 procesor @ 3.6 GHz which is equivalent to Intel i3 or i5. It's nothing special, but it can handle most games. I'm pretty sure GTA 5 will run smoothly, as long as I upgrade my graphics card to one that is more decent.
But then again, I'm obviously going to stick to the console version of the game for a while, at least until the PC version is released

New Info from an interview with Rockstar
- "Over 1,000 car customization options" (Bulletproof tires, armor, etc.)
- Car will turn up in an impound if left in the street. Must pay a fine to retrieve it
- You can't directly "weaponize" your car, but there are a lot of little options. (Car leaking petrol and light em up, sticky bombs)
- Guns will be with you throughout the whole game
- Customized guns will broaden range of options during missions. (Stealthy vs. loud, Scope, etc.)
- Moved from static fights to free focus. Quickly switch your focus to other enemies. No longer need to lock on to enemies, although you can lock on if you wish
- "Hits are much more satisfying"
- Each character has different animation. Strength stat has a bearing on melee capability
- Expect really cool destruction/carnage/damage
- Combat AI much more advance with more knowledge of environment
- Enemies will behave different by who they are (SWAT is organized, gang members are more "gung ho")
- 3 protag will feel natural and will not feel like a balancing act, allowing the game to feel more natural. (if Franklin and Michael are in a car, you can drive as Michael, switch to Franklin, and Michael will continue driving)
- Shooting stat will affect steadiness of aim, amount of ammo you can carry, aim stability, etc. (You can go to the shooting range to increase stat. Also goes up if you kill an enemy. You are rewarded for better kills like head shots)
- Car horns can be customized

Rockstar started developing GTA V around 2010 or 2011 (you know, when the first trailer was released) this was a long time ago, before the next generation consoles were even announced or anything. So they had to develop the game for the current generation consoles. Imagine if we had to wait until the announcement of PS4 and XBOX ONE, and THEN Rockstar started development for GTA V - we would have had to wait until 2015 or 2016 until they finished creating the game! They've already taken long enough, I don't want to wait anymore, especially when they announced that they delayed it until September 17th!
Maybe they would port it over to PS4 one day, like they done with the GTA classics (ported to PS3, downloadable through PS Store)

Yeah other games are becoming rubbish, I think CoD will die out soon, they release a new CoD title each year but the game is becoming increasingly repetitive, same with a few EA titles, i.e. Need for Speed.
There is another forum that hosts game events for X360, PS3 and PC. Most GTA events are organised through there (Office Riot Forums), I've taken part in some of these GTA events, it's really fun! Here's an example of one of the many ORF event videos you can find on YouTube: GTA EFLC: ORF Event - January 8th, 2013 - Deathmatch x3 [HD] - YouTube
I think it would be a great idea if we could organise events like these here on RaGEZONE! Especially when GTA V comes out, seeing as the multiplayer will be improved... what do you guys think?

That sounds great! I've been in a couple of GTA IV events, and they sure are a lot of fun, can't wait to see what type of crazy ideas people will come up with for GTA V.

I think he meant the PC version, which I too think will be released a few months after the console version.

It won't be much of a problem, we just create seperate events! Someone could host an event for PC, someone for PS3 and someone for X360.
Also, it would be ideal for them to delay the PC version just a little longer. We don't want a failure like GTA IV. They have to optimise it for PC properly, so they should take their time and not rush things.
