Connection Problems

I've recently went into EMS Developing to test me skills on what i can and cannot do, but thats not what im here for. Does anyone know a way to actually connect to EMS not the real one, like through localhost, I tried many Methods.

SEA: which is a redirector, i actually thought this one might work.

and GMS: Which is LEN, was sort of a last resort..

So does anyone a way, other then decompling/unpacking a client(or creating a whole new client(Could try might fail))?

You can use an Edited LEN (Edit yourself) and custom HS (obv edited also)

How exactly do i edit LEN, i tried it before, my friend told me to use IDA, which i got no idea how to use, others told me, use C++ or something like that..
