Use photoshop to resize images. And if everyone would resize some random images and call them badges there would be like 100k badge releases. Make this for your own hotel but don't release it.

Agreed.
It's always nice with some exercises and eperience in making new badges, but try to ask yourself some of these questions net time:
1: Do I want to create something unique for the world to share?
2: Do I want to create something personal for my hotel alone?
3: Do I think this is the most awesome creation the world has ever seen?
If you can answer a full yes to the first question and at least a half yes to the third, then go share it ;)
If not, just keep them on your own hotel, and share them with your users, when they think they need something personal from their staff.

Also, you can't just Google John Cena and then resize it. Badges don't work like that. Most of them take time to make.
