Evoland - Play through the history of video games.

Evoland.. it's such a great game. It starts off as a "GameBoy-style retro visual" RPG game, and as you progress forms into a fully dimensional HD game.
It's only £6.99, and is well worth the price from what I've played thus point far. I'd have been happy with the retro style throughout, but being fully dimensional does enhance the experience, of course.
Start of as something like this:

And with progression leads to something as such:

You can see the trailer here, if this isn't convincing enough. ;')

I think some of the oldies here will like it, especially those who played games like this back in the first Final Fantasy Days.
Get it, you won't regret it. :P:

Nice. ^^ You HAVE to play the retro one first, and you gradually increase to fully dimensional and HD as you progress. It is a nice game, you'll love it. (If you do buy it)

Just finished the retro game of it, reminded me of one of the very first zelda games :p
Gonna buy the remake of it tomorrow, the retro version was definetly worth playing, as i love them more than the games we know these days.

Haha, I totally agree. And about it being alike Zelda, it's actually inspired by it (and other games such as Final Fantasy and Diablo) as said in the credits of the game when you "complete" it. ^^
