I need someone to help me fix this error. I port forwarded port 80 and I changed the VPS and hotel localhost to the ip.

You also need to port forward your MySQL port (3306 by default)

NEVER DO THIS. It will allow users to connect to your MySQL from the outside, you really don't want this.

The error means you have entered an invalid username in your config.
