About Genes BUGG & Vulcanus on Season 6 Episode 3

I use this server files : TitanTech 11.70.28 Latest Files (99%Bugless) [ http://forum.ragezone.com/f193/nova-...1/index13.html ]

And a season 6 episode 3 client from Ragezone, too.

The problem is that on Global MuOnline normal you can go to Vulcanus only if you are in a Genes side ( guild ) but on my mu server you can go to vulcanus even if you are not in a Genes.

I want to edit a muserver much like Global ( i try ) so can you tell me how to fix this ? To go to vulcanus only if you are in a Genes ?

Check on SFCData/SFC_GensPvP.ini
Look for the following:


[CloseMap]


SCFGensCloseMapEnabled=0
SCFGensCloseMapMinutesTime=30


[GensCloseMap]
//0 All Can Enter
//1 Belongs to Duprian's Family
//2 Belongs to Valiant's Family
//3 All Can Enter, But When Event Finished Will Belongs To Only One Family (Except On Draw)
//4 Belongs to Duprian's Family FOREVER
//5 Belongs to Valiant's Family FOREVER

After this, you'll find a list of the maps (by ID) , you may change any map to whatever family you want....or to 3 (event-winner keeps the map)

Note: I didn't test this, but it's there; give some feedback if you test this.

Made this changes before in 11.11.92 but players can still warp in Vulcanus when set "3"
I think the settings is incomplete, but if you look into MU Engine s6e3 FREE version it has a complete settings using "-1" will limit the Map only to players with Gens.

Did you test this only with 3 ? or with 1 2 4 & 5 too ?.

I Didnt really check MuEngine Free version; as it doesnt have CashShop & Imperial Guardian.....
I do realize it's one of the best Mu emulators; but i still dont like the Free Version....

I'll make some research on this later, i g2g now.

I activated close map , I set the Vulcanus map to -1 and it works as " the map belongs to Vialant ". I try to make something like " You must be in a Genes to go to Vulcanus " ... Any other ideeas ?

If i set it to 3, everyone can enter the same as if Close Map was off.

I believe the thing is putting it to 3, and running gens event (no idea wich is it tho, im not familiarized with gens yet.); winner will get the map; losers wont be able to enter; i think this works this way...

It says:

I understand this as BEFORE event, ALL CAN ENTER; and when Event Finishes; Only winners will keep map.

Test this way, and let me know =).

I get your point but still Genes event has nothing to do with Vulcanus low level entrance like level 30 but it would be like " scripted " - " Only a Genes member can enter Vulcanus " , genes join level is higher than 30 so if you use a reset server, any low level character can reset in vulcanus at level 30 and any other guilds can go there. So what would be the point of having Genes system with Vulcanus level 30 entrance ?

It must be something because on Global Mu Online the thing is " Only a Genes member can enter Vulcanus " so the map Vulcanus is only for genes, if you are in a sparate guild you can't go there.

So you understand me ? Any other ideeas my friend ? Thank you

why not removing the vulcanus on your move command?

in gmo you can access vulcano only through the NPC..
