Is there any working phoenix?

since phoenix has gona down, i have still seen loads of hotels with it running their hotel, so how do i get to use it to?

All I know is that the 3.7.1 cracked emulator by Predator works fine because it doesn't require connection to any license servers. However the 3.11.x emulators I've tried all need to connect to Otaku's license servers in some way, unless there's actually a 3.11.x cracked emulator that doesn't require connection to Otaku's license servers now and I'm just unaware of it.

Best just switch to BcStorm.

You should buy Firewind, just paid $225 and so far it seems awesome.

Quests, Achievements, Achievement Score and Marketplace all don't work. This has less features then BcStorm and is probably based off of it. Wouldn't even pay $10 for it -_-

Why even pay for something that's barely legal? I didn't pay £20 for a Phoenix license, why would I pay £100 for Firewind? Christ almighty, community.

If you ever experience having more then 50 users online you will se why paying for the software, get managed support and updates is important. Running on a cracked emulator is not safe for a hotel with hundreds of thousand users.

And there is also 'backdoors' like the ones Aaron had in Phoenix in the cracked version by Quackster.(Correct me if im wrong)

Firewind have some missing features, I can agree on that but it's stable and I know Leon and AWA have been working and test running this for months. Leon also said that he can convert items so that would not be a problem.

It's not a joke, Firewind is currently in beta and I paid $225 for a lifetime license. I had no other choice and $225 is easily earned up after one day with uptime.

What a pisstake. At least Phoenix was reasonable with its pricing (and actually credited the author of its base!).

I'm not even going to wait for Firewind cracks. I'm simply just switching to BcStorm.

I downloaded the attached Binary archive and, sure, it loads, but it doesn't accept connections. Says it cannot connect to the remote server in the exceptions (which is probably Otaku's license servers)

Well I use 3.7.1 at the moment, which works fine. Until I move to BcStorm that is.

Well seeing as BcStorm is the only working (and non-cracked) emulator currently that's free, I have no choice but to move to that unless I want to keep the backdoors in my 3.7.1 retros.

Firstly, the link on that thread is dead. Secondly, I used that before, it's incredibly buggy (permissions don't work, teleporters don't work, etc, at least they both work on 3.7.1).
