Firewind - Protected binary
Protected binary, have fun cracking it:
Binaries.zip (1.7 MB)
https://mega.co.nz/#!R5oG3aZT!KA5aj0...7n4Tw12u2cvEKo
Seems to be protected with Enigma
I posted this because frankly, ripping off an emulator that's out in the open and charging a ridiculous amount for it is crazy.
I also posted this to stop people from having a retard moment and buying it.

Re: Firewind - Protected binary
I luf u, Adil. u be mai best friend :i <3<3
Honestly: Bad times for Firewind, I guess.. This is gonna end up just like Phoenix.
-
Re: Firewind - Protected binary
To be honest I think they deserve it that this is released, it's crazy how much they charge for it.
-
Re: Firewind - Protected binary
Thank you, sure the community needs a stable emulator but 250USD? Wtf.
It's also funny how people hating sojobo for selling an stable emulator for 25 USD and loves leon/awa/firewind for selling their emulator for 250USD.
-
Re: Firewind - Protected binary
Mikkel
You're clearly talking non-sense here.
No Firewind will never make any good success as Phoenix did and do you want to know why?
Phoenix was a very stable emulator and it was daily updated and it only cost 25$ and then you would have a lifetime license and also the emulator's features became better and better.
Firewind will never succeed such thing because they sell it for a shitty price and haven't done shit lately then editing the emulator and actually fixing some little problems and editing....
-
Re: Firewind - Protected binary
But i am sure that they buildin backdoors, so will this be safe ???
"looking at it : #Command register for pets in Butterfly Emulator r74"
They sell a butterfly with fixes !

I'm pretty sure Firewind won't even get that close as good as Phoenix was
Anyway good release thank you very much
I know 2 hotels that's got it, habbiz.biz & habin.me, so people will surely buy it.

Re: Firewind - Protected binary
Thanks! I'll toy about with this and see what happens.

Sorry i find it pretty stupid: The emulator is nothing much rather then edit and small fixes around the problems nothing more why would anyone actually bother paying 250$ for a shitty emulator that have only been edited and where only the small fixes obviously have been fixed and therefore using/buying the emulator is an utter waste of time.
Hopefully soon there will be someone who will crack this and obviously will show people that they don't need to pay a shitty price for a shitty emulator therefore paying for it is utterly stupid

Re: Firewind - Protected binary
You can't crack it. Unless you have a license.

This emu is tops i have used and still use this emu
Not worth paying so much for something that is released FREE.
Also not worth cracking it since it is just habbolatino

A lot of bugs have been fixed and headers have been updated.

I asked Leon what SWF it uses and he said same as habbolatino.
Also that is a lot of work since he is working 8 months on this.

Re: Firewind - Protected binary
So /auth now 404s. Nice job scamming your customers, clown.

You should buy whoisguard for your domain, it would probably be useful since you are doing exactly what Aaron has just had his house raided for.

Re: Firewind - Protected binary
I was pretty stupid by signing up for beta tester as useless because eventually you'll need to pay for an emulator package anyway therefore it's useless and don't bother signing up.
@Dysfunctional
I'm not complaining and I'm indeed not being forced to buy anything off him that's a good point you made but i just don't see the point of paying so much for an edited emulator that have clearly been cracked before so i don't really see the point do you?

Wow. $250, huh?
Some people never learn.
-
Re: Firewind - Protected binary
I guess if your goal in life is to profiteer off someone elses hard work and IP you may aswell pay out the arse for a shitty amateur server too. God forbid you have to learn to code and contribute to an open source project or something.

He attributed them. And he also paid good money for Uber, unlike Leon who is taking the source for an edit of an edit of a leak of a proprietary emulator, slapping his name on it and charging $250 for it.

And MDKs work is based on JoeHs and DeK later came along and slapped his name on that server before it made the rounds too. What's your point? Doesn't make it right.
For a little background, MDK was also selling his v1 server for a little while, source included, as a VB FUSElight server, we had it to test our testbench based client on.

Re: Firewind - Protected binary
I've clearly learned a value lesson here
Some people are idiotic enough to at least try to talk you over to still buy something that's totally not worth it: For example Johno. saying: No what you're saying is totally wrong, the emulator is worth every penny and you should really try it rather then complaining about it all the time.
No I'm still not convinced enough to guy buy it because the title will always remain the same that it's just an edit with some small fixes and what not and for the rest is the price tag over the top and utterly stupid.
-
Re: Firewind - Protected binary
What really strikes me is at the height of MMOCC development, barring art, you could have gotten an okay server and client (no art included) for $300ish back in the MMOCCForum days. Now people are willing to pay that, on a habbo emulator.
The mind really boggles.

Re: Firewind - Protected binary
Deflecting critics as less talented is a cheap way to dismiss someone. Anyone can hold and give an opinion on something. Do you have to be a painter to have an opinion on a painting? A carpenter to have an opinion on furniture?

Come on buddy, you were once one of the leaders in open source habbo projects, don't turn into one of the losers.
-
Re: Firewind - Protected binary
Come on. If you don't want immaturity, don't sell a habbo emulator... does this look to you to be a community bursting with adults? I'm not saying they bring anything to the thread but does this really contribute anything...? It's just another commercial bastardisation of Sulakes work.
Stuff like this as a whole is why the internet is being cracked down on, there's a difference between freedom of information and piracy and even a little cryptoanarchy or hell even making personal choices and disobeying laws (such as drug laws) and what's going on here and in many other communities - and it's not just limited to private servers, selling stolen game keys and accounts, selling user uploaded and scene pirated materials on the street or even in online shops, selling invites to private torrent sites... people shouldn't have such a "if it's there i'll make money from it with no question of legality or morals" attitude.

+1.
Although I've been in and out of this community for a while now, last time i was here Leon had just released the BCStorm source, this seems to be a total U turn!

So it seems, although at the moment it just seems to be a bunch of kids releasing everyone elses work to get some sort of e-rep.
Where has the community spirit gone :(

Community spirit died years ago.

Re: Firewind - Protected binary
WOW! You got almost EXACTLY the same features and bugs like bcstorm (no marketplace, no ecotron)?
How can I even trust it? I never would trust Leon in that way. I can't see anybody working on this piece of crap for 8 months.
Good luck getting buyers, they will be all stupid buyers!

There's a couple people with the source that could continue it (myself or Moogly) but i'd rather wait till Jordan gets back from wherever he went.

Re: Firewind - Protected binary
Firewind is such a gay name.
-
Re: Firewind - Protected binary
Let's just conclude that Firewind is expensive and that everyone can use the emulator they like ;)
The ones who want to can just buy it? ;P
-
Re: Firewind - Protected binary
Ah, this thread is hilarious. Kids bitching about wooden boxes and going completely off topic. It's funny because hardly anyone bitches about Martin with Butterfly, Butterfly was very expensive as well (costs 150$ per month if I remember correctly). Yes, it got cracked and released but still, no one bitched about it then.
Now you guys have the binary of Firewind. (wats a firewinds? (personal joke)) Crack it, release it, but for Gods(doesn't exist :)) don't bitch about it, I've had enough of seeing all you kids bitch about who's selling what, who won't make you a retro and who won't crack what. It's so damn annoying, this section is dying because of this bitching and people selling things when they don't have the right to. Habbo Retros were created to be a free alternative to the Habbo Hotel, the software SHOULD be free for everyone to use. Developers won't release things because of RENAMING, so why don't you all grow the fuck up and everyone should start getting along.
Fuck, that's one long-ass post.
