Hey,
Activision announced their next Call of Duty game last week. "Call of Duty: Ghosts". From what I can see, it has something to do with the "famous" character who nobody knows anything about, Ghost (From MW2). Personally, I don't plan on purchasing this game, which I will tell you about later.
To start this thread off, here's the official teaser trailer:

Now, I don't plan on purchasing this game for a number of reasons, I will list them here in order of importance. (1 Being Most Important, 5 being the least.)
- Call of Duty has failed to impress me in the last 3 releases. Most of my friends and most of the people on my Xbox LIVE friends list who used to play Call of Duty Daily agree with me. I did enjoy playing CoD: Black Ops for a while, but that just got worse and worse with every DLC Pack released.
- The story line always gets more stupid. Most people only play for the Online/Multiplayer now-a-days, but I typically try to play both. The whole futuristic parts in the past 2 games were just pointless and made the game more of a pain in the ass both online and offline. The story is never about fighting wars anymore. Now it has to be secret missions, black operations, and special forces. Why can't I just be a normal guy fighting a fucking war like the old CoD games?
- They fucked up zombies in the last release of "Black Ops 2". How do you fuck up the only part of the game that half of the people who play the game actually play it for? Zombies was the last successful part of Treyarch's games, and they fucked it up with special multiplayer stats. I feel like they're trying too hard to make these games good and just end up adding too many features that make the game either boring or too difficult.
- Multi-player has not changed in the past 3 games. Sure, there has been features added, features taken out, but if you asked me, Modern Warfare 2 had a perfect setup as far as how the games were set up, how you earned your rank, and how you got your guns. CoD Points are retarded. 2-3 different types of kill streaks are stupid. It's all just too confusing. I want to be able to set up my classes quick, so if I only have a few seconds before the next game, I can just pop in change what I need to change and be done. I should not have to look through 6 and a half billion different features in the classes to change my gun or a perk. I understand that they're trying to make it a customize-able as possible, but it's too much.
- I suck at Call of Duty's Multiplayer. Some of you will probably say that this is the main and only reason I'm not buying anymore Call of Duty Games, but it's not. I've always sucked at the game, but at least I used to enjoy playing it. There's no point in the game anymore. It's just killing other kids and waiting to die just to respawn again, and repeat the process until you go back to a lobby where it will send you to a new game where you will just repeat the same fucking process. It's not even war, it's just aimless killing.
Activision is just trying WAY too hard on a failing series. Sure they have their loyal little 8-13 year old kids who's eyes are glued to the fucking screen, but how long until they grow up and the game just starts getting old along with us all. They should end the series and start something new before they make a terrible name for themselves and a once great series of games.
You've come a long way reading this thread. Nice Job.
Take care now, bye bye then.
