Searching for a Launcher (ES seems to discard me as if i'm nothing)

Ok, i know there hasn't been many threads about this, but i'm seeking a launcher; it must have the following things

:- starting the client file
:- Ability to patch
:- Ability to disallow a group of people - i.e. server maint.
:- Ability to Ban people
:- Ability to register FROM the launcher
:- Needs to be secure

I did actually pay for one but i never got it (thanks ES for ruining it)

Anyhow any help much appreciated :) - YES i am Willing to pay up to $50 :P

Yo,

If you got the guts to start a server, you are supposed to have the guts to work hard for what you need and require. There are quite a bunch of guides out there. Why don't you start with the basics like Visual Basics and make a launcher of your own and have all the features you like that are necessary? The world is in crisis so get your lazy ass and start learning something.

I used to learn VB and know it very well, but as years passed where i forgot most of it, i am willin to pay someone who will make a launcher for me :/ i have got the login.php correctly fixed :/

Fatal step again. Only guys withoutl knowledge use PHP as LoginHandler. Code your own server service. You can use the REST-API for it, check wikipedia and use google to get familar with the REST-principe.

I can show you a few basic things, Evildarkang. Maybe help you a tiny bit with your launcher, although there is a released version with the .php included in the Releases section I'd assume. My skype is alexander_vassiliou. I've done quite a few launchers from scratch learning new things each time. I basically did them for the sake of the experience. I'm a home made programmer, I have never read a single book. I don't say It's a good thing but I'm going to study programming in High School and College, University.

Now...

Difference between VB and C# is that C# is faster, more powerful and more advanced. Basically your processor reads C# programs fast, for example

Faster means the following...
VB code:
Private Sub InitializeComponent()
End Sub

C# code:
Private Void InitializeComponent()
{
}

What would be faster for the processor to read? Reading End Sub which is 7 characters(including 'space' character of course) or {} which is 2 characters(4 if we count the Tab character)?

And more powerful means you got more control over your environment and your application.

C# Isn't more powerful nor more advanced. It all depends on who's coding it. Good and experienced coder = Fast and powerful program. The difference in speed is too small to even notice.

Of course it is not noticeable by human but it is for a computer that counts even the milliseconds. And yes it is more advanced than VB.

Since you can do the exact same things in both languages, I fail to see how it's more advanced. Unless what you're trying to say is that it's more difficult to learn.

To be honest, I don't really know how to express it. But it's not exactly the same thing! :D:

For instance, you gotta manually write all your event handlers in C#.

Why don't you tards make one, instead of arguing over it.
