server side questions and Masterserver issue
after i builded twice on localhost, i wanted to set up warz on my notebook (win2k8 64 bit)
what i did like hundred times:
IIS is already up and ready to use. all function works (i guess)
MSSQL is already up and ready to use. everything is done
compiled all as release, client to final and release, website as debug then published to notebook via FTP, converted into application. (i compiled everything on PC, then i uploaded to notebook via FTP)
wwwroot contains everything what is must to be there
uploaded the whole WarZ folder to notebook C:\WarZ
followed aLca's hamachi tut for setting up for external IP, since LAN IP is external

i tried to search for million keywords but there is no usefull result
no modification in source code, i use DNC's release fully updated
any suggestion before i drop my monitor out of window? maybe caused by win2k8?
PS: in client / launcher: logging in, register with launcher works, update works (means backend works fine?), creating character works, servers gone -> coz masterserver gonna crash

Hycker, do you have problems running it locally on the laptop and connecting from the laptop to itself?
I don't have a free machine to install win2k8
I have both win2k3 and win2k8 server operating system iso's, but nothing to which I can install without creating a virtualbox defeating the purpose of the test (as this would most likely not be feasible on a laptop plus invalidate some error types).
Are there dmp files? How is your firewall configured on the lappie?
If you build the WarZ_Server.sln in Debug mode even the WZ_GameServer.exe will run as a console and give additional information. What do the 3 consoles show if running in Debug Build?

i killed the win2k8 firewall immediately after install, so i dont think its caused by this.
while im on debug mode its works fine, noone error, also if i start those same files in localhost there is no error, after i upload em, masterserver will crash. now i gonna ragewipe my notebook, and install a win2k3, and i start again every step.

okay after two days sux with win2k8 server (afaik 2k3 IIS6 sux so i dropped this too) may i ask, there is someone setted up the server side w/o any trick and issue on wincrap 2k8?

edit after a cigarette... i tried couple ways like:
installed win2k8R2 compiled -> crash
installed win2k8R2, compiled on win7, uploaded neccessary files by ftp -> crash
installed win2k8R2 on virtual box, compiled on virtualized win2k8 (dont do it, its pain in ass) -> crash
installed win2k8R2 on virtual box, compiled on win7, uploaded via ftp -> crash
is possible this sh!t dun works on 2k8? '-.-'

Very possible it don't run on win2k8 or win2k3
I've not tested to validate either, but it would not surprise me if there were other additional requirements or it failed to work period.
This is M$ we're talkin about.

tried with 127.0.0.1, with localhost, with LAN IP and mixed em. still crash
actualy i haven't problem on win7, but set win7 as server... :-/

Win7 as Server can work. It's almost the same shit as 08 R2^^
Recompile and so on brings the same shit? Had this Error multiple Times, but recompile the Server almost fixed it, when it's not the IP Problem.
