Re: VPS or Dedicated Server?
I highly recommend using not a no-ip.org domain. For most users it is hard to remember. If you buy a VPS you only need to portforward through your firewall but usually (in most cases!) the ports that are being used by the emulator are automatically added to your firewall.
The ports you have to forward depends on the ports you want to use. You can use any port (except 80 which is for your website).
I personally see no need in a dedicated server if you're not planning on more than 300-400 people online. Usually for small hotels (to 50-75 online) 1gb ram is enough.

XD your not a poor fellow right you can get a .com domain for a cheap price at Domain Names | The World's Largest Domain Name Registrar - GoDaddy.com
Re: VPS or Dedicated Server?
But the VPS Provider will accept Retro hotels? And is it possible that the provider block the VPS?
You will use other providers to host DCR's i think so :P
I have running the website / server dedi and dcrs on premium webhost :O
Re: VPS or Dedicated Server?
Alright, I would NEVER host a retro on my own PC. People will take down your hotel if they don't like it and that would take down your internet connection.
A cheap VPS is the way to go, you can get some for $10 with 1GB RAM.
