If you get it free with Xbox Live, who cares? That's just an extra reason to get Xbox Live. If you have your own Television service, you'll just need a service provider that allows this and has an HDMI output on their consoles/cable boxes. You're not understanding them properly either. You keep stressing the fact that they charge $60.00 for Xbox Live, when if your statement is true, you're getting ALL the services Xbox Live has to offer, plus Television. The console is not going to be $600.00, it probably won't be over $500.00. In this day and age, nobody is going to buy something for that expensive.
People who want the PS4 to be seen as better then the Xbox One just keep spreading lies and rumors. "It's going to cost $770.00", "You can't play used games", "You can't borrow your friend's games, trust me I know because I know a 'guy' from Microsoft and he is like an 'execumutive' and he likes know all this stuff", "You can't play Xbox One without internet connection". These are all rumors, Microsoft has yet to release most of this information anyway. Surprisingly, from a huge company, they have had 0 leaks that were truthful.
Also, at what point in their reveal or where on Xbox.com does it say anything about focusing the console around Call of Duty? NOWHERE did they do this, if you paid attention you'd have noticed they announced and showed trailers for games such as, Forza Motorsport 5, Madden NFL, FIFA 14, NBA LIVE 14, and other games. Call of Duty was merely a speculation of how the graphics would be enhanced using next gen Call of Duty Engines teamed with the updated graphics on the next gen console.
What "apparition to enable this TV" do you speak of? They said nothing about this "apparition" in their reveal or on their website. For your information, and apparition is a term for, "an unusual or unexpected sight", "a ghostly figure", and "the act of becoming visible". They are not focused on TV, they're focused on making your life easier by tying all your entertainment into one console. That would include "GAMESS!!!!". You're blowing things out of proportion. Your thoughts, speculations, rants, raves, comments, and concerns provide no information to support the information that you've given. I don't know if you're just a PlayStation fan making up rumors, or an actual Xbox Fan that just needs to get their facts straight.
Please, provide some legitimate and reliable evidence the next time you post.
Thanks.
The sad part is the PS4 hasn't even been revealed yet. They showed a blurry box, and parts of it were shown in discreet and misleading images. I don't even think the specs were given for the PS4 yet because the only places I've seen them on are unreliable tech sites like the ones posting all these shit rumors about the Xbox One. The only spec that even beats the Xbox One (But hasn't even been confirmed by Sony) so far is the GDDR5 Memory to the Xbox One's DDR3. M$ is using DDR3 because they want more of a computer aspect into it to include as many features, games, apps, etc; which can only be accomplished by using a DDR3 Memory (Typically used for computer systems). Which also means that PS4 will not have nearly as much features since the GDDR5 is based solely on graphics and isn't avanced enough to comply with all of the features that a DDR3 can. On top of that, the only games that will have better graphics then Xbox One are the games that aren't for Xbox One and are exclusive for PS4 because do you honestly believe game developers are going to bust their ass trying to enhance the graphics for PS4 when they can use the same graphics for both? In conclusion, none of these specs have even been confirmed by Sony anywhere except on phony tech news websites that really have no valid sources of information, based on the fact that they are postings stories about the Xbox One already saying that "An executive from Microsoft had this to say, 'Oh yeah, the Xbox One will have a feature where you can't play used games.' We know, it's gonna suck." when M$ gets told about this they immediately have it posted somewhere proving that the information is fake. Mainly on Xbox.com, in their FAQs or on executives Twitter pages or personal websites. So, as far as I'm concerned, I'm only taking information from proven, definite, remote, and valid sources. Straight from the horse's mouth, that goes for Sony as well.
For all I know, Sony can release a video of all their executives taking a shit and piling it up into a perfectly round rectangle, painting it black, and making a blurry video of it. "Now the moment you've all been waiting for, presenting the 'Piece of Shit 4'."
Please, do as I do, and don't believe the rumors unless Microsoft and/or Sony confirms them.
You do realize, they haven't finished, right? They're not focused on TV at all. They just showed you that aspect of the PS4 and the fact that you no longer need to switch inputs on the TV, no longer need to use a remote, etc. They're still working on many aspects of the Xbox One, including and especially, "GAMES!!!!!"
And to finally end this long post, the fact that the Wii U sales went up on Amazon UK after the Xbox Reveal is stupid, and you should remove that from the thread. If someone decides to buy the Wii U over anything, they need psychiatric assistance. If anyone makes any true speculations based on the Xbox Reveal alone, they're stupid because it's just the reveal. Lots more to come from it.
