Well after trying and experimenting a lot I agreed with the idea that a PW Server can't run on Windows. So with a broken heart I will install Linux. so I have some questions. After I install the system how do I download the files from this site that I need? From windows and then copying them on linux or I download them directly on linux?
Sorry for this stupid question but I didn't find anything at the search section...

Sounds like you're on the right track. It will ultimately be up to you what and how you do things of course. With that I would recommend you could A) set this up on a separate machine (a server, or an extra machine you have/build/buy/make) if you really wanted to, but will not really be entirely necessary unless you plan on opening an actual 'public server' (or even having a 'private' one on 24/7). B) if your 'main machine' is good enough (mainly needs a LOT of RAM) you could 'tinker' around with PW servers in a virtual machine. I recommend VMware. If you go that route I would recommend you do so with no less than either 8 or 16 GB Of ram (by 'main machine' I mean the windows machine you've probably made these posts from). In order to do that I would first practice setting up VMs in VMware (or vbox) and if you don't already have knowledge in networking, learning it, because without it you will not run any server (not even a web server let alone a PW server). If you go this route you'll be installing a server edition of Linux within your Virtual Machine. Once/if you know how VM's and networking work, you'll be pretty golden to start tinkering around whether you decide to set it up on a physical machine or within a VM :wink:
