The Humble Bundle Weekly Deals thread
Since there's a good few Steam users here, as well as Humble Bundle familiars, here's a discussion thread to discuss/fangasm over HB's weekly deals.
https://www.humblebundle.com/weekly
For those of you who don't know what this is, you pay pennies for big name games (plus assorted crap) all in the name of charity. The developer, charities and Humble Bundle all get a split of whatever you pay. All you need is Steam, and money!
THIS WEEK: EA Origin Bundle!

Been sitting watching my girlfriend play it, very dialogue-heavy
edit: site note for anyone buying it, it's a $4.28 minimum donation

Re: The Humble Bundle Weekly Deals thread
I bought only one episode for Xbox and hated it. It's too dialogue-heavy for my liking. Literally just decision making.
On a brighter note though, all these games are dirt cheap!

You wouldn't like adventure games then I guess! The story is the point, it's like reading a book. There's no "haha you suck at this game, no more content for you!" road blocks, so many people prefer them.

Re: The Humble Bundle Weekly Deals thread
First impressions are everything for me. As far as I can remember, I literally walked outside from the kitchen and got to the gate and got bored. I'm a huge fan of both the comics and the TV show but the game was such a let down!

What game are we talking about? I'm playing the BTTF one, it's pretty awesome. It's set 6 months after the films, where the Doc has disappeared.
Afaik pretty much all of these games from Telltale are highly critically acclaimed, so I would suggest taking another look at it and try and get into it. No doubt once you get past the learning curve, you will like it a lot more.

Damn right, she has a fucking gun.

Re: The Humble Bundle Weekly Deals thread
New deal unveiled in half an hour, but for anyone interested I seriously recommend the Indie Bundle. "Thomas Was Alone" is a lovely wee puzzle game, reminds me of portal... only with cubes, that bounce.

Re: The Humble Bundle Weekly Deals thread
But at least there's Steam keys for most things! Not all so bad!
