Star Wars: 1313

Hello Humans,
I remember, while in the midst of researching some info about a possible Star Wars Battlefront 3, hearing about a Star Wars game called "Star Wars: 1313". I decided to look it up once more, and we now have an update which goes a bit more into detail than the original concept art released. So, here's the trailer, followed by the website to visit to find some more information.

I think it looks pretty cool so far, it seems like a better story than Force Unleashed, one that doesn't exactly center around the original movies. I like that because it is rare that they go away from the original story line and tell you about the different areas of the galaxy. It's also rare that they talk about bounty hunters other than Han Solo, Boba Fett, Jango Fett, Greedo, and Jabba's thugs.

It also gives that kind of, what I call, "District 9" feel to it. A forbidden part of Coruscant where criminals hide out and do their dirty work.

Could have been interesting, but then I always refrain from getting interested in a game before I've even seen ingame footage. Cinematics are bullshit and should be banned from advertising.

I did read somewhere, that EA had won the license for Battlefront 3. :P:

Such a pity.

I'm not relying on the cinematic trailer as a basis for my interests. I've seen tiny bits of gameplay on the website/link I've posted. So, obviously something went wrong in the announcement as far as it being shutdown. Perhaps, just shifted to a different developer or something? I believe EA has taken over not only "Core" games, but all games as far as the Star Wars franchise goes.

I think that this game got canceled O-o

nope. :P I think there was some confusion of whether or not it had been cancelled or just transferred over to EA. I don't think they would still have the links up if it were cancelled?
