Generation 4 Pet

Hey guy !
i was wondering if i can make the G.3 Pet meld or not, for example; Leo G.1 + Leo G.1 = Leo G.2 right!! and now i wanna make Leo G.2 + Leo G.2 = another pet that in Gen 2 again so i can meld 2 more time, normaly it come out is Leo Gen 3..... Anyone know something about this please show me the way to do it.

Leo 1 + leo 1 = Leo 2
Leo 2 + leo 2 = different pet that got the gen 3 Leo skin
Leo 3 + leo 3 = New pet that i just have mod

If its WoI then No you cant unless you know what your doing. But on BoI pretty much I think. (havnt touch BoI for a long time)
