Meaning of life

I am curious, what do you personally think the meaning of life is? I don't mean just human life either, (feel free to focus on human life though in your post) I mean life in general, be it a plant or tiny little ant crawling along the sidewalk. Is there a meaning? Is there a purpose? I mean, there has to be... right? Unless, this thing we call 'life' is completely meaningless with no purpose, and things with 'life' just live and die. Discuss.

Also, please note this is NOT a religious discussion, feel more than free to include your religious beliefs in your opinion but do not make a huge debate over it.

My personal thoughts are, well, unsure to be honest. To answer something that we can not even begin to comprehend, well, some say is impossible, however deep thinking scholars will tell you otherwise. I like to consider myself a 'deep thinker' however the subject of life in general is one that generally has me stumped.

Get rich or die trying.

The meaning of life is to die; although we were put on Earth and conceived with reasoning, we will expire and leave the Earth or inherit it.

Meaning of life, is to find a cure for immortality

Why does there have to be a meaning?

Because humanity has one BIG flaw. No its not called love ... that's just made up. The real flaw is CURIOSITY!

God isn't perfect. He did his best, but some of us have the need to look in rather than out. So if you keep gazing at your belly button you will be eternally tortured...or something like that.

God isn't real either in my personal opinion.

But the meaning of life to me is coincidence, two compounds/chemicals mixed at the right time in the right conditions and at the right place a billion years ago to form the first Single-celled organisms. Life evolved the way it is down to pure coincidence, that cell then divided and formed complex, multi-cell organisms which are what we have today, single-cell are still around, we just use antibiotics to kill them when they get into us.

My point is life was never meant to be happen, the universe wasn't created for life but I'm glad life did evolve.

Most of us can't fathom a few thousand years. How can we understand what happened over the 15.3 billion year life of the universe, much less the 5 billion years Earth has been around? In all that time it's totally possible for life to form here. You don't need a Magic Monkey in the Sky Wizard.

You have a pretty convincing point, however I do not believe in the God Christians, and other religions on this planet have.

Life has no meaning. The world is your meaning.

Don't blame you one bit. The only Meaning of Life I can tell is to keep propagating it until someone figures what the purpose is.

Meaning of life, that's simple, read below this sentence.

Be born > Grow up > Make money &/ or find love > Get old > Get sick > Death.

If you can't do this then there's another.
