Kinect Opinions/Discussion

The Kinect. Microsofts new step into motion detecting technology to get you off the couch to interact with games.
Why not have a discussion or opinion sharing thread about it.
Considering Microsoft is now looking to further improve upon Kinects technology I think it'd be a good time.
My opinion?
I think it wasn't a bad idea from the start. I'm sure one of us as little kids always wanted to swing a sword around in real life and it would move on your console and you would be like moving around and pew pew pew. Experiencing it for myself though it wasn't always what I thought it would be. I'm more of a mouse and keyboard kind of guy. Kinect is 150 dollars extra and it doesn't have the most solid lineup. Therefore I'm not totally with everything Kinect. It seems right now they're kinda just throwing out dance games.
Besides that, I think Microsoft's done a good job with the actual Kinect itself. It's motion sensing is decently more spot on in new versions compared to older versions.

My opinion , Kinect is a crap , and games that were made to be used with kinnect are just boring. Also the controls of such games suck , as well the most part the game controls itself , so you pretty much don't play at all , besides waving to your kinnect. If that's the kind of gameplay you are looking for , well have fun with it. I prefer a genuine controller , and genuine buttons , where I know I am controlling the thingy on my TV.

I'd say the voice commands on it though are decently useful.

It should have been optional. :/

The fact the xbox one has to include a kinect pisses me off....

Yeah big brother is watching......
