Free Xbox Games

Well as I'm sure most of you are aware, Playstation started making a different game available for free every month. Well as of this month, Xbox have started to do so too.

Fable 3 is free on the Xbox Live Marketplace & Xbox.com until a date of which I am not 100% on, probably the end of the month.

To get it free, simply select "use Microsoft Points" when prompted, to start downloading the game. Unfortunately, you have to be an Xbox Live Gold member to take advantage. Silver members will be asked to fork out 3600 MS Points.

At some point, Halo 3 & Assassin's Creed 2 will be made free, starting with Halo 3 next month.

I really do hope they address the issue Gold members were receiving while trying to download. Took me about 45 minutes to download so I couldn't complain.
Now just waiting for Halo 3 because I already have AC2.

I found it strange that you have to pick "Use Microsoft points" to pay as took a while to figure that one out. I will look forward to AC2...haven't played any of them yet.

Been blazing through Fable III, had it before but never got into it, now I'm set on getting all 1000g (without dlc). I thought AC2 and Halo 3 were both free from July 1st? May of been me misreading though.

I've been the same. Managed King in 7 hours, completed the campaign in 12. Pretty fun, just working on all the challenges and stuff now.

And yeah, I thought that too. I'll try and confirm it.

Completed it like 5 times. Brilliant game, with amazing endings. I prefer Fable 1 though.

I don't think I could play it through that many times to be honest! :ott1:

I heard my friend mentioning that CoD: World at War might be one of the games for free, don't know if this is 100% but will pretty cool if it is.

I'm excited to get to play Fable 3, I just finished Fable 2, so I can't wait to get to play through Fable 3 (I loved the 2nd one, and everyone tells me its the worst of them all, so I can't even imagine how good the 3rd has to be).

I have Halo 3, but I want to get AC2 :)! Free games, yay! Not that it makes up for Xbox one...

If this is true then that'd be nice, I'd like WaW to be brought back to life - it's probably my most favourite CoD (first one I played online). Right now it's riddled with modders who make the game unplayable :(

Fable II is the best Fable I've played. I bought Fable III on release but didn't have any interest after playing the first few hours. Since it became free I've nearly 1000g'd it haha.

I'm looking forward to Halo 3 for custom games again - I used to spend hours online playing Fat Kid or Prison Escape! AC2 is the best Creed in my book and I can't wait to 100% it again (got platinum of PS3).

I'm happy I'm not the only one that loves Fable 2 haha, it's the first one I played, so I don't have much to compare with, but I really liked the story, haven't had the time to play much Fable 3 yet, but I'm really looking forward to just sitting down and getting to it to be honest.

The only reason I don't play Halo 3 is because I want to clear Halo 1 & 2 again, I cleard them on my old xbox console, but I can't remember ANYTHING from the story, so I just have to re-do it again, and then I'll play 3 and 4...

Once you've completed Fable 3. Purchase Fable 1 from the Marketplace, you won't regret it!

This was actually my plan :) everyone is telling me Fable 1 is the best, so I really want to play it! I just recently got another 360 for the first time in about 5 years, so I'm catching up on a bunch of amazing games. It's awesome really :P.

Yeah Fable 1 is the best imo. Lionhead Studios are re-releasing it Christmas in remastered graphics! :D:
