v26 Habbo Retro?

I didn't really know where to post this, so I decided Retro Chat would probably be the best.

If a mate and I were to open a v26 retro, how much people would actually play? We don't want to waste our time making a unique emulator and CMS for people not to play.
Also

Don't post saying why not just open an r63 or anything else as I'll just report the post as spam. As we want to know if people would play v26 as it's our favourite version ---> To add a discussion to the thread; why not post your favourite version ALONG with if you think we should go ahead and make the hotel.

Honestly probably not many people would actually play it. I know I wouldn't play it, only because I would have to install Shockwave and having to install something just for 1 hotel wouldn't really appeal to me. I'd imagine it is the same for a lot of others too.

I would love, too play a v26 retro haven't seen one in a long time. I miss the hand, as i'm an old skool habbo player. I think you should go ahead with it. :)

I had a v26 hotel, like a few months ago. And i had max like 5 users online, so it's not worth it..

i too have love habbo official in the v26 but now the servers of this version not working very much

v26.... I honestly miss those days so f*cking much, but sadly not that many would actually be active on a v26 anymore, because all kids want 'bigger, & better' but really v26 is better.... If you decide to make one pm the link ill play on it and help ya out.

¿What type of excuse is that? If you like the game it doesn't matter if you've to install a complement which takes you 1 minute of your life, the download is 7,5 mb and the setup doesn't take you more than 1 minute to install..

Talking about the topic.. if your favourite RELEASE is V26 then make it, enjoy it and improve. Don't expect you'll have more than 100 people online, but you don't need to convert your hotel in a kind of businnes like the 99% of the hotel owners (unfortunately).

PD: I work with the old RELEASES of Habbo Hotel since 2007-2008, if you know how and where to find people and your hotel is good, you'll have a lot and it doesn't matter if it uses shockwave, be sure.

I'd take a look at it, for the nostalgia - wouldn't stick around though!

Don't need an excuse not to play something. I'm speaking realistically. No one and I mean no one is going to waste their time installing Shockwave when they could just play another hotel. If you want a hotel that gets maybe 10 users on at most go for it, but if you actually want a serious hotel that is actually fun, v26 is not the answer.

Prove me wrong by opening an Hamachi hotel and get atleast 50 players.

Isn't that the same as installing shockwave? It also takes a few min of your life to setup..

Unfortunately there is a reason why Hamachi hotels didn't get that populair. it requires Hamachi which you needed to install. Same with Shockwave, it's outdated and not default installed in browsers, however, flash is.

Wish more people would play V26, it's a real shame tbh....

My hotel is v13 and and we're now in a Beta phase, but if i want i can have more than 50 users online easy, it's true that more than the 50% would be brazilian, but i could have it. You don't need 1000 users online to make an awesome and fun hotel, is the unfurtunately concept that the new generation of the private Habbo development has.

Anyways by one side i'm agree with you, i'm sure you'll get more users in a flash hotel, but if you fight for the things that you want.. anything can stop you.

Don't compare Hamachi with Shockwave.. of course is not the same, with shockwave you only need to download the complement (7 mb), execute the setup and that's all, it finish to install in 30 seconds. Also you're forgetting that Shockwave is a complement installed in many computers (especially the old ones), a quote of Wikipedia:

It's true that you can't compare it with Flash Player, but i only wanted to say that shockwave is not a strange complement and you can't also compare it with Hamachi, which is totally different and in my opinion is a totally shit.
