If I can run COD4, what other games can I run?
I just found out that my shitty ass laptop is able to run COD4 at a good speed on medium to low settings. I have tested the Single Player, and Multiplayer with the PezBot mod.
I am able to run older games like GTA San Andreas, etc.
This is my laptop:

So, any recommendations? No gay shit like Final Fantasy.
Re: If I can run COD4, what other games can I run?
Well all games are different so being able to run 1 high-end game doesn't mean you can run every other game below it. Now for games I would recommend, I'd say Dishonored, (seriously, try out Dishonored first it is an amazingly awesome game I was extremely surprised by how fun it was and it's now my new favorite game)
Bioshock/Infinite, Need For Speed Most Wanted, CoD Series, Grid 2, The Sims 3 (and expansions) and maybe Red Alert 2 & Yuri's Revenge. Not all of them are high end but Dishonored, Bioshock and Need For Speed are fairly, especially Bioshock and Dishonored, Dishonored I'd say is about as resource demanding as newer CoD games are.
Re: If I can run COD4, what other games can I run?
Call of Duty series, Need for Speed series, GTA series, True Crime, The Godfather, Live for Speed (it's like a racing simulator) and possibly Scarface.
Basically, any game that was available for PS2 and has been ported to PC, should work fine with your system. I know from personal experience, I used to have a shit pc too and I was able to play these games at low settings.

You should use System Requirements Lab's Can You Run It? tool rather than an openly vague question such as "what can I run?". Use this tool to benchmark your system against newer game such as Crysis 2, Battlefield 3, WoW etc

I also use this tool, it's quite useful although sometimes it may not always be accurate, for example it may say that my PC has passed the recommended system requirements for a specific game, but when I play that game it does not run as smoothly. But then again, it's still a good tool to use to get a basic idea of what sort of games you could possibly run on your PC.

This tool is SO inaccurate. Every game that I have installed right now, I am not able to run according to CYRI. I already have GTAs, NFSs. @PixelPro123, that's a good idea. I am gonna see what PS2 games are awesome.
Will I be able to run GTA 4? Opinions?
Re: If I can run COD4, what other games can I run?
No gta4. The game is unoptimized for PC and requires way too much CPU resources. Also the graphics card in your laptop is shit and is just an integrated chip.
I'd be surprised if you ran any modern game on low to medium settings with those specs.

I can run some good PS3 games. Can't list them of course, but COD Modern Warfare 1 should be one of them.
Re: If I can run COD4, what other games can I run?
Definitely not GTA 4, it requires a PC with a quad-core processor (the more the better) and a seperate graphics card with plenty of memory bandwidth, to run it optimally.
Some of the games I listed in my other post are PS2 games, I've played them myself on my low-end PC and they run as expected, and you know, they aren't those fantasy type games, I'm not really into that, they're quite decent action games
You could also see if Saints Row 1 or 2 can run on your system, I haven't tried it myself but hopefully it should run on low settings, you could also try SR3 but I doubt it will run smoothly... good luck!

I think you can run Assassins Creed 1 on low settings , and pretty much any MMORPG

I already have AC1. The lowest settings work fine, but sometimes it's still laggy.

Usually with old-base games, they're set to run on 1 Core CPU's, but, there's an easy fix for this.
Simply change the number of processors from X(which would be how many the user has), to 1.
This doesn't ALWAYS work.. but it worked for a friend and I on 2 separate games on 2 separate computers.
Just remember to change the number of processors back to what it was after you're done playing.
Here's a guide on how to do so;
