Client Connection

Hello,

my friends and me want to connect on our localhost.
We tried every tutorial we found out there but nothing helps us with our problem.

The owner of the Rootserver can connect to the game but we others cant get a connection.
We changed the xlate-e.dat file to:

;(country_type eng)
;
; server list
;

(serverlist ( name "Server Name") ( ip "127.0.0.1") ( port "30001") (config "debug"))
(serverlist ( name "Server Name 2") ( ip "192.168.1.37") ( port "30001") (config "debug"))

Please help us out of this sticky situation.

did u opened ports ??

I'm dealing with the same thing. I even put the internet IP address so it goes over the internet and not local, but without success -.-

1. tell your firewall not to block all 3 ports of the kalserver. Authsvr port, Dbsvr port, Mainsvr port.
Then use Hamachi and insert your local IP adress into the xlate-e.dat.

Go on your network settings of the Lan-Adapter ur using -> right click properties and find out your ipadress.

Thats all you need to do:
open ports, create firewall rules, give the right connection adress.
