3. Start "Setup.bat"
4. Copy Login-Fix Files into your Aion directory
5. Have fun playing on your own server

After double click on "1-Click Starter" the batch will close.. whats wrong?
Dunno - try starting -> Start AL-AIONEmulator.bat
and if not work post your System informations!
Also try copy the directory to your plain drive like C: or D: and do not let it on your Desktop!

when i press [ENTER] or a + enter ... the .bat will close and i can't find it in the tast-manager
after this i press doubleclick on the "Start AL-AIONEmulator" and this will close after doubleclick

try restarting your pc and try it again. at my place everything works fine
pc restart don't work .. I don't know whats this is..
then try start "MySQL start only.bat" check if a new drive was created, go to that drive start Z:\loginserver\StartLS.bat and after that Z:\game\StartGS.bat
If no drive was created check your firewall settings.

this is only possible if you compile your own server files. This pack includes only already compile files!

Well now I try to run the lightning server and I got this error when trying to run gameserver. I suspect might be something with java cause I did not change anything and I just ran it after extraction. Do you know how to fix that Dwarfpicker? I'm having trouble with getting people to connect to the server. The ports are all open through both my router and firewall (this server is replacing an out-dated Aion one I run, so I know that for a fact since people can connect to that one), I checked the ipconfig a million times to see if it's the correct IP, and checked the network properties a bunch to make sure the ports are right. Everything is. I can connect to the server, but others can't. Do you have any idea what the problem could be?
One more question that's kind of odd: A member that tried to connect was getting the "This service is not available in your country" using cc:2 in the config even though it was the EU version. Then when he tried cc:1, it opened. This makes no sense since it should be the opposite. I'm not sure if that's exactly a bad thing, but have you heard of that happening before? If so, is it a problem I need to address or is it a harmless oddity?

I switched to the AL 3.9 server from the nextgen, my question is there a gm skill that does like 3mil damage like the nextgen or a way to add that skill? thanks

Thanks for reply, I have been using the //kill the last couple of days but it gets old after going though instances having to type that 50 times. I was just hoping there was already a gm skill that kills targets i just needed to add to my skills list. Thanks for the good work on this by the way I am enjoying the game.
I will check tomorrow if I can add this skill to AL. Until then make a ingame macro ^^, so more or less you got a skill ^^. Just hit a button and monster dies ^^

ok here is how to add GM Skills to your Char:
1. Open your database.
2. goto al_server_gs -> players
3. Remember your chars ID (sth like 101223)
4. goto al_server_gs -> player_skills
5. add new line:
player_id - skill_id - skill_level
101223 - 1904 - 1
Keep in mind using your player_id not the one I used for an example ^^
6. Save it! -> Restart server !
7. Done!
You can add alot of GM Skills.

I use newest gameforce client (4.0).

Client 4.0 is not Supported! You need 3.9 Client! but I think if you got uptodate Gameforge client you got 3.9 client. So you are using Windows 8, you need win 8 noip fix too.

when i put win 8 login fix to bin32 folder and start client, it can't start, it say "please delete d3dx9_38.dll and try again".

The error is not important. It means that some npc dont got their walkroute and just stand on one place ^^
how to see the database with mysql and navycat but don't with apache or how i can see the database of apache

Check your AionEmulator/Game/Config/Main/gameserver.properties
and just search for:
gameserver.chatserver.enable = true
and edit it to:
gameserver.chatserver.enable = false

HI guys, I'm quite new to this server stuff. Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong? Using the AL 3.9 v2 1-click.
1. Already installed NA 4.0 but used all the files from 4.0 -> 3.9 downgrader. Follow directions and placed all files into main AION folder. ( version.ini = 4.0.0.11 still?) how does it actually downgrades the client to 3.9?
2. Copied aion_start_local.bat into main aion folder, copied from bin32 of AL3.9, d3d8thk.dll, to main aion bin 32 folder.
3. Checked CC and changed to 1 on line 2 within aion_start_local.bat. Started 1-click setup. I see "Z" drive in "My Computer" (do I need to do anything special in this drive? )
4. Launched using aion_start_local.bat from main aion folder (is this correct?)
5. Aion loads - Not sure what I enter for login/pw? Looked at other post here, and followed to Game folder database.properties. Used root/aion for login/pw but got this error: "Cannot connect to authorized server" and logs me out.
- Also - when running the server, my consoles for Chatserver, Login server, Game server keeps flashing? Error message: Java is not recolonized as an internal or external command..Fixed - installed JDK 21

I changed my aion_start .bat from my IP to 127.0.0.1 and it ran and used a random name to login with pw.
What do I need to give to my friend so that they can connect to my server via my PC?
Do I give them the same LoginFix from AL 3.9 1-click bin32 folder and have them put it in their bin32 and same with my ipconfig.xml (using my external ip address instead?) Where would they put ipconfig.xml if so?

Thanks Dward - dug around this forum last night and edited the .bat file with my IP and had to do some things to my Airport Extreme Router to open those ports.

Just download the launcher from the official Aion site and set up the path in the launcher to your 3.9 folder so the launcher will update your Aion!Quote:
